ICE CHIPS Xylitol Candy 6 Tins (Therapeutic Pack); Low Carb, Gluten Free - Includes BAND as shown

Trying to find a low-carb, satisfying yet healthy candy is almost impossible. I'm really glad I decided to try these! Ice Chips are exactly what the name implies - they are white randomly sized chips, broken apart (no sharp edges!). The "ice" comes from the natural slight cooling effect that xylitol has as it dissolves in your mouth. They are roughly about 1/16" to 1/8" (2mm to 4mm) thick and range in size from little 1/4" (5mm) triangles to a monster 1" (2.5mm) square, but falling mostly somewhere in between. I actually kind of like this - it's great when you only want a small bit to freshen your mouth, or a nice large one to enjoy. They break fairly easily, so big ones are no problem, but not so easily you wind up with a tin full of powder after a week in your purse. All ingredients are natural, no artificial flavors or colors. Xylitol has been proven to reduce the bacteria that cause tooth decay and is recommended by most dentists. This is a six pack of tins, with three different flavors, 2 of each. First up, what they call the Immunity (or clove) flavor. Though the list of ingredients includes clove, cinnamon, rosemary, lemon, ravensara, eucalyptus and niaouli oils, the predominant flavor is most definitely clove. There is a very slight but pleasant bitterness which offsets the sweetness of the xylitol nicely. Clove oil is a powerful natural disinfectant, so it combines well with the xylitol to further combat bacteria. The other oils are not as noticeable in flavor, and honestly, I've never heard of a couple of them. Next is the ginger flavor. It has more of a raw, fresh root ginger flavor. There is a bit of an earthy flavor to this one, not sure if it's the ginger oil or the other "certified organic natural flavors" (not sure what they are, that's how it's listed on the box). It has a familiar flavor that I can't place. The ginger is on the spicy side, but not too much. I like fresh ginger, so I like this one, but it's definitely not like a gingerbread type flavor. Last is the menthol/eucalyptus flavor. This is real menthol, very intense, very nose-clearing. I personally don't care for menthol (makes my ears ring), so I gave these tins to my 81 year old dad. He constantly eats those halls type throat lozenges and I thought these were a healthier alternative. He really likes them, and they're sugar free which is better for him. I'm really glad I found these mints. One of the problems of dieting, or at least trying to eat healthy, is the monotony and/or blandness of flavors. These mints are intensely flavored and sweet enough to satisfy that craving.

I love these ice chips. They quinch my need for some kind of sweetness. All three are mild in flavor, but for me, satisfying. I recommend these for diabetics and those that don't want to take in sugar. These are made with xylitol and have a brightness to their sweetness.

3 stars due for me due to preference of taste. Whoa these are strong. When I was sick and sacking on the immunity and menthol, I couldn't taste it but once the senses came back wow. The we're too strong of clove or eucalyptus menthol. Get these if you like these intense flavors. I love the products and will continue to buy others. My husband and son liked those I didn't so 4 stars for these powerful Lil chips. Ginger is great too.

They taste funny, and not like the ones i got locally.

Love the band they come with, it is strong and keeps the tin from opening up on my purse. The three flavors are all strong. Gives one the chance of rotating flavors according to the mood. Sadly they do not have the flavor printed on the side like the individual tins do

How can you not love a candy that is good for your teeth too! I have flavors I like more than others but like all of them. When I need just a little something, this does the trick and I feel great about eating Ice Chips

Yes, real ginger will curb nausea. Yes, menthol-euc will open breathing... yes yes yes. But these really do taste -- like medicine. Don't mistake them for a treat. All the other flavors of Ice Chips are a treat -- cool and full of flavor -- and enough like hard candy that I can keep one in my mouth and stave off a cough like cough drops. But the 3 flavors that say they're therapeutic really are -- therapeutic-tasting.

I really like this candy. Clove flavor is absolutely amazing. I would buy it again and I would most definitely recommend this candy.
