Really sturdy clamps
Great quality clamps. I used them to make some doors from recycled floor boards - they made clamping the boards together very easy while the glue dried - will last a lifetime.

Great clamps for the money, but fragile handles
These seem strong and sturdy for what they cost. Heavy, but glad to have solid steel rather than aluminium. Overall I'm happy with them, but there doesn't seem to be quite enough overlap on where you can place the stops vs how far the clamp will reach. The only part that has failed is the handles, as they have bent out of shape already. Some quite a bit.Personally I would buy again despite this, as let's face it, the amount of clamps you need for a project is (X+1), where X = the number of clamps you currently possess.

tough and cheap
If you're looking for a tough clamp that does the job at a cheap price, then this is it.Mine came very well packaged. There was some minor cosmetic damage to the paintwork, presumably received during manufacture/store, but 2 minutes with hammerite will sort that.It is heavy, and does not feel smoothly machined, but it works! If you want beautiful machinery ( for a lot more money ), then look elsewhere.

They should clamp down on its use!
Fantastic bar clamp at a great price. Being 6 feet long it fits the bill for those 'bigger' jobs when other sash cramps fail to measure up. t seems well built and will last a lifetime. A great product.

Ordered two- one was good
I ordered two of these for a job- one was as expected, not the most sturdy (some bending of the handle at high pressure), or the greatest quality, but good enough for the job and offering value for money- I'd give five stars for this because you should not expect great things are bargain prices. The other should have been a factory reject and is worth two stars as it does work with some coaxing. It had the screw filed down to fit with the casting on arrival, 'globs' of paint preventing easy movement of the sliding piece and a hole that the pin needs to go through that is miscast to such a degree that the pin has to be put in with a hammer (a lot of clenching occurred while I awaited to see if the cast iron would break during this) and tapped out with a screw driver. Because of the imperfections on the screw, more force was required as the action was not smooth. Why did I order these ones give the mixed reviews? Well, it was sheer logistics, the seller could get them to me in time, unlike others on offer elsewhere. Amazon logistics, good enough for the job, three stars.

Sturdy, cheap, a bit rough
I bought a pair of these for glueing large wooden assemblies. They are strong enough, and did the job. The machining isn't the best quality so the screw operation isn't the smoothest. The main problem with them is that the distance between set holes is greater than the maximum adjustment on the thread, so you will sometimes need to use spacer blocks. Apart from that, they are reasonable value for money

Good product.
Purchased 6 of them. Some are a little stiff as new but in good working condition.I’m satisfied with the purchase.

Heavy Duty
Really high quality and heavy! I've had aluminium sash clamps in the past and found them to be too flimsy for any serious use. With these being made of steel they will stand up to the most demanding of jobs no problem. My only criticism would be the packaging they arrived in. They were just wrapped in what was essentially a big bin bag. Luckily these are strong enough to have arrived in one piece despite the poor packaging.
