AUTSCA Key Box Wall-mounted Stainless Steel Key Safe Weatherproof 4 Digit Combination Suitable for Warehouse, Family

This is a far better product than the lock-boxes more commonly found in hardware stores that have 10 mechanical pushbuttons for code entry. The reason being those more common lock-boxes only allow a digit to be used once and will accept the 4 coded digits in any sequence. So although they allow a 4-digit code, they actually only have 210 possible combinations (making it easy for someone to try all 210 codes until they find the one that works). This product, by comparison, can have any code from 0000 to 9999 (so 10,000 possible combinations), so it would take 47 times more tries, for someone to cycle through all the codes. It's also strongly built and the dials are protected from the weather by a sliding cover. It's also much easier to set your code than the aforementioned products, is easier to open and close, and there is more space inside for the key. This is the second one I've bought for a rental property and it is perfect for the task.

I started with one lock box several months ago and since returned to buy more. This key lock box is easy to setup with personal code, and to install. I bought one for my house, my mother's house and for rental property... Now when tenants call late at night to say they are locked out I can give them the box code and then easily change the code. A very good value.

I seem one of these when I stayed a night at an Airbnb and I had to get one at my house too! I installed to the wall and include two of my most important keys inside. I was looking at the store brands at home depot which cost double of this product. It is very sturdy and has changeable passcode, I'm surprised they include the special screws and screw locks.

The code set easily and the box opened/closed smoothly for guests at my rental. However, my New Years Eve guest forgot the code and I was slow picking up her text. Her husband found a sledge and an axe in a shed on the propertyand smashed the lockbox while I was giving the guest the correct code. So not 5 stars. I will probably order another lockbox after securing the shed and setting alternative communications re the code.

This key lock box is easy to install and the quality is pretty good. It has a waterproof shield so the rain will not get inside the box and damage the box. This is also convenient that just in case I left the keys inside the house, I can always get the spare key from this lock box to open the door.

I used this to stash an extra set of keys for when my wife locks me out of the house (accidentally of course). It seems to be well made and heavy enough to stop your run of the mill thief. I had no trouble setting the code and then opening the unit multiple times. Also, unlike some reviewers, mine came with a prominent AUTSCA logo...Just as pictured on Amazon.

After a few months of using the code suddenly did not work anymore. No way to open the box with the keys still inside. So I wrote to customer servce and received this response: "Hello customer, For such a situation, I think you can smash the key lock". That was it, no apology or whatsoever. Don't buy it.
