Excellent quality product. A+++ seller. Highly recommended it.

EDC for survival
I have a few sharpeners, very few accommodate both knives and axes which makes this a 'must-have' piece of kit for survival situations that are longer than that weekend away

Ok but a bit flimsy
Feels a bit flimsy and the plastic guide come off while using and have to keep sticking it back on. Had to secure it in a vice to really be able to make use of it on my large Friskars axe (have to be careful not to crush it in the vice as it feels quite fragile). Not the usual quality of a Friskars product but it did an OK job on sharpening. Will look for something better before this breaks.
User
Good and reliable.
I'm quite surprised with the negative feedback, so I thought I'll write too about this product.I use this sharpener for more than 5 years and its still fine. Few moves back and forward and its done. Its realy simple to use, its safe to use. And its sharpenes very well. The only thing its not good is when your knife Is really blunt and you need to make it good so this sharpener is not for that. Its for your new knife that you want to keep it as new for long long time and this what it dos very well.

not all good for the job
I have just got this and fund it was not good for the job can be better if it run by a battery.
User
poor quality
disapointing flimsy plastic feel...sharpens okay but no as good as other sharpeners that are available on the market.

Buena compra.

Definitely sharpens my axe and hatchet (on a basic level)
I've tested this product to sharpen my Fiskars 18" hatchet and my long Husky brand Axe.For the Husky brand axe, it did it's job--took it from blunt to sharp enough with about 5 minutes of sharpening.Ease of use: 10/10Go forward, go back.Price point: 10/10Well worth it for as long as you want your outdoors tools to stay sharp ((enough))PROBLEMS:Recommendation on sharpening fine sharp tools.Fine sharp tools definition: knives, hatchets, any sharps you need to cut, chop, or slice with ease--passes tomato test.No way this thing can get tomato test level sharp. For that I recommend getting a sharpening stone. I used a 1000 grit for my hatchet because it had chips. I sharpening stone-d the chips away and brought it back to razor sharpness with the stones, not this.

Rather spend more on Fiskar's X-sharpe range of sharpeners
Not very well made, does not perform as it is expected from Fiskar product- Cannot be use to sharpen Axe's and other garden tools that require sharpening.
