RESTORED VINTAGE COACH BAG!
I used this leather balm on my COACH Vintage Dark Red Leather Top Handle Drawstring Backpack and as you can see from the before and after pictures what a marvelous job this balm did.Word of caution: you have to be patient! This process took about 2 weeks. I bought this product on June 10th; it's June 24th and the job is done! My husband did the restoration for me. He took his time and covered all the brass before he started on the leather. He first, cleaned the leather with leather wipes. He let the bag dry before apply the balm. You have to apply a coat, let it dry for several hours and then repeat the process until you are satisfied with the coverage. Then he applied the top coat. He used a top coat from another company. This company does not have a top coat, but from our experience restoring another bag, we knew we would need a top coat. ( I will review that leather balm from the other company shortly). After applying the final step (the topcoat) we let the bag dry overnight and voila!...my bag has been restored to it's original beauty. The bag is from the 1990s and over 30 years old. They do not make bags like this anymore, so I cherish all my "old" stuff! All COACH bags today...like most things, are made in China. This bag was made in the USA. This bag is being sold right now on Etsy for over $400.00 by more than one seller. I WILL NOT be selling my bag! So happy with this product! THANK YOU STARTSO WORLD! GREAT PRODUCT! We restored a navy blue COACH bag with leather balm from another company. I had to go with this company to restore my red bag because the other company did not have red! But I'm so glad that after reading reviews I chose this company! Reviews, when written correctly and objectively are very helpful! Oh, by the way, we (my husband) cleaned the brass with Brasso. KEEP YOUR STUFF...GET TO WORK...RESTORE AND ENJOY!

Easy to use and looks great!
I know my before and after pics aren’t the best but I figured any picture is helpful when you’re sifting through product reviews.Relevant background: My car is a 2006 with full leather interior (so I have not tried this product on vinyl) that i’ve owned since 2017 and all this time, I thought my interior was originally dark grey. Well, when my cat peed on me and my drivers seat and cleaning it notably faded part of the seat, I went looking for a color matched leather recoloring product and found out that there IS NO grey leather in my model and year, it was just faded to grey by the time I got it in 2017. So clearly I was working with pretty badly faded leather when I applied this balm.Amount used: I used it on several types of leather finishes as you can see in my car, some were more absorbent than others. I did all 4 doors, front and back of all my seats, headrests, my leather dash and glove compartment, and a handful of other leather trim pieces. Some of these parts I did two coats on as some were more faded than others. I did the entire drivers seat, front passenger seat, center console, 3 of the doors, and a few other spots here and there twice. The rest I did once. This used up almost exactly the amount in one container. Perfect amount for a car with an absurd amount of leather and a ton of fading.Application method: I tested several application methods with different tools and motions and the one that produced the best, darkest and most even coloring was using the yellow round sponge that comes with it in a buffing motion while applying light pressure, kind of massaging it into the leather. This was true for all the different leather styles in my car. For spots that had damage (scrapes, tears, extra deep wrinkles), it worked best to use the edge of the yellow sponge to press it into the indented area then rub it in around the area without rubbing over top of the damage. It’s not a filler and if I were to do it properly, I’d have used a filler, but I just wanted to diminish the appearance of my damaged spots and this was effective for that. Results: after finishing, it looked great but became very matte and felt dry to the touch after 2-3 days. I used a wax and solvent based leather conditioner (I make it myself but Montana pitch blend is very similar to what I made and used) over top to put the moisture back in the leather and provide a light sealant, as it’s obvious the factory sealant wore off like a decade ago. After applying that, it looks and feels great and is holding up! I would plan on using a conditioner like this a few days after the balm. Another thing I noticed before I used the conditioner was that, while it didn’t transfer to my clothes even in the rain, black did come off onto my cloth when I used a leather cleaner on it 5 days after applying. This is part of the reason I decided a conditioner with beeswax would be the best option. Since applying that, the black has not come off at all when cleaning.Down time: i found that 8 hours was enough for it to completely dry/absorb and be impervious to rain and not transfer onto clothes or skin. I did not check it any sooner than 8 hours, as I did each round of application at night when I was done driving for the day and checked it when I got up, so it’s possible that it could be good to go in less than 8 hours. I did notice color changes over the course of the 3 days after each application. The pieces that were in the best condition became more even, any sponge marks I left behind melted away. The pieces that were most damaged became less even, as the driest parts absorbed more of the colorant and became lighter than other parts. I would definitely recommend waiting at least 3 days before applying a second layer so that you can really tell what you’re working with. Then, again, would recommend waiting at least 3 days before cleaning the leather or applying a conditioner or sealant, because the color changes indicate that it’s not fully absorbed and at its final state until 3 days have passed. All in all, I am very happy with this product and my car looks amazing!

Love Love LOVE this stuff!
Okay so I LOVE Love LOVE this stuff. I have a 2014 Ford Expedition. My front seats that were black had faded to charcoal grey. My fault for leaving it in the sun too much the last year. I have no experience doing anything like this so bought it based on reviews. It was so easy to use. It is nice too because if I bumped my vinyl I just sprayed windex on paper towel and it wiped right off. I did a pic with it half on the side of the seat before finishing it just too really show what a difference! I did both front seats and my center counsel, a few layers each, and used about 2/3 of the bottle. Letting it fully dry now and then putting a conditioning sealer on. This stuff dries at a rate you would want it too though too...not too fast..but fast. If your black leather seats are faded.....buy it. Have paper towel, a box of plastic gloves, and windex, and a conditioner sealant for after.

Works great
Lazy Boy “leather” recliner apparently uses fake leather for non seating surfaces. After 15 plus years, it still works and feels great. But the fake leather is flaking off in some spots. I cleaned it up a little and then used this to match the color. My eye sore recliner now looks great. My wife was surprised that it looks like new again. I would recommend this product.

Amazing!
This stuff is amazing! Buy it!I have 2 leather sofas - one a loveseat and the other a couch. I bought it used and although the leather wasn’t punctured or cracked the color was pretty worn out. I purchased this and was disappointed in how small the container was however once I got started I realized a little goes a long way. One thing I hate is how small the foam applicator is and ended up getting a small dish sponge then cut off the rough section and used the softer section. Tips:Work in small sections - it dries REALLY fast.Work in small circles - this allowed me to get into all the crevices - then moved in the direction I wanted it to be (horizontal/vertical).

Very User Friendly
This is a great product and very easy to use, the only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it took a couple of coats otherwise it was streaky and not even. But for the cost, I guess that's okay.

I was skeptical
I am always skeptical of how well a product like this will work...lots of claims but often very poor results.I'm sure this product, "STARTSO WORLD Leather Recoloring Balm Repair Cream Kit for Restoration Medium Brown Couches, Sofa, Furniture Color Dye Restorer - 8OZ" will have varying results, depending on the condition of your leather.First things first. USE THIS ON REAL LEATHER - not VEGAN leather (which is plastic) or bonded leather (which is like a veneer leather). It needs to be used on real leather that can soak in the cream and dye.My leather love seat was old, and had been neglected quite severely. It was probably a light oxblood colour, but had faded on the seats and arms to almost a gross orange colour from years of drying, no maintenance and abuse. When we got it, I was embarrassed to have it in my living room, and knew it would be temporary. I decided to give the medium brown colour a shot...I mean it couldn't get worse. The leather was dry and cracked, and sucked this creamy product in like it was water on parched soil. That was good and bad because I suddenly had streaks, but with some patience and drying-reapplication, the loveseat is starting to feel like real leather again. It has a sheen again. It looks distressed, but that is because it WAS distressed. I am still working on it, but so far, I'm super happy with the results.I can't say that ALL leather will respond this way, and in hindsight, we should have conditioned this leather before we tried this treatment, but ultimately, it is doing great on the leather. It dries without being sticky (give it 24 hours) and it is colour fast - don't worry about sitting on this in white pants.Overall, super happy with the extension of life this has given this old loveseat. The first photo is of the loveseat before any treatment. The second is after the second round of cream. The third is a close up of the seat after treatment.

Rejuvenate
My 16 year old couches were In reasonably good condition. The dark brown had faded to orange in the usual high use areas. I was very uneasy about using color polish but I gave it a go. Firstly I gave good areas 1 light coat and worn areas 2.My original color was a mottled dark brown and tan so it wasn’t essential I got even coverage.I’m VERY impressed at how both couches turned out. Like new. I’ll definitely get leather conditioner to keep them. It will be interesting to see how long the polish lasts. I’ll post again. But some advice, would have been so much easier to treat lightly faded. Tackle this issue sooner rather than later.I also appreciate how the seller answered my question on the amazon site.I would definitely recommend!!

Did the trick!
Pros: colour was perfect match. Easy to use. Quick drying.Cons: my sofa isn't leather (it's pleather!)so it's not perfect as it's more of a material than a 'leather' type stuff. So where it has worn is a bit grainy and not smooth. However, having said that it's covered the wear marks perfectly and blended them back in. So I can stop using covers to hide the sofas as they are, apart from the wear patches, in really good condition.
