Worked great in my brooder. The little girls enjoyed it

The chicks do enjoy going up and under this. But it does collect poop which has to be soaked off. It's also quite large and takes up more of my brooder space than I expected

Got our first chicks and a big steel brooder in February. This ramp was great for their little feet, it helped them gain balance, provided a little shelter for them to snuggle under, and also once they got a bit bigger was fun for them to adventure. They begin roosting young and several practiced on this. We spray painted ours bright colors and the chicks loved it.

Received this product and began using it for my chicks. Within 2 weeks of using this perch the steps began to come off. When the first step came off it took less then a week for all the steps to come off the perch. The bad part is there are small pin nails sticking out and could have caused problems for my chicks. I decided to remove each step and remove the pin nails from all the steps. I then took some wood glue you can use outside and in the weather. I glued all the steps down and let it dry for 24 hours. Now there is no problem with the steps but the boards are separating in the middle of the perch so I will soon have to repair it too. I would never buy this perch again from this company. My son bought a perch from a different company and it has gone through two sets of little chicks and he has had no problems.

Chicks are 13 days old. I didn't even start using this "ramp/perch" until day 8 when I moved them to a larger enclosure.Today three (3) of the perch/steps came off.Ilm attempting to reattach with some wood glue and possibly larger wood staples but these are incredibly shoddily constructed.I'd return but my chances of getting a replacement before they outgrow the thing is slim.Until now it did provide the chicks a handy place to hide and huddle.Be prepared to do your own diy reinforcingTwo stars if I can jerry-rig it back to usable

I was surprised at the quality for the price charged. Simple design that one could easily make oneself but then you would have to buy the components and spend the time putting it together; which is fine but I needed to save my time for other projects. I purchased this as a training tool so that when the chicks leave the brooder they will easily take to the adult ramp in the henhouse.

Lasted 2 weeks before my baby chicks absolutely destroyed it

My Silkies are 8 weeks old and needed something for their brooder. This worked great, it's already assembled so you just flip it out. It's sturdy and the chicks seem to enjoy it. Very well built and esthetically pleasing!
