In order for any of us to sleep at night, my bed-ridden mother must wear mitts. I designed my own mitts with hidden wrist bands that clipped securely. Mother would remove any dementia mitts I purchased within 5 minutes. After a couple years she finally became "mitt trained" but the mitts I designed became old and worn. I purchased these mitts thinking I would need to alter the wrist strap to be tamper-proof but they work perfectly the way they are and Mom even loves them. They're her favorite color, comfortable, effective and easy for me to put on and take off. I haven't had to wash them yet. Hopefully that will go well.

I have two pair.s in f these gloves. The zippers are cheap and they open up at times, but other than that it is a pretty good product.

These worked very well for our situation. We have an elderly dementia parent in our home.We use to keep him from scratching and biting his sores on hands.

Product not as described. In the product description it clearly states, "The detachable extension strap can be easily adjusted in length" The strap is sewn into the product and is not detachable. If you require these straps this is not a problem. I do not need them and find them a nuisance and would have liked to have had the ability to remove.
