I was excited to get a hitch hammock but all the negative reviews are true… it is not made well. If you want a hammock stand put your money into the real version made by “adventure hammock” or a Kammok hammock stand. I have used this hammock stand for several months but yesterday at camp the locking pin sheared off sending me crashing to the ground. Now it’s unusable… do yourself a favor and invest in a better stand.

Go it in the mail missing the locking part for the arm extension. It also didn't come with instructions, but was easy enough to figure out. Wrote the company to get the part, but never got a response. Used a large pin to replace the missing parts. Otherwise I use it often, and it holds my weight of 240.

Very poor quality welds and coating out of the box. But even worse, it broke and folded in half during the first use. I was very lucky to not get injured or hit my head on the metal hammock stand when this product collapsed. I am less than 200lbs and this product broke immediately. This product is very unsafe for you and your family.
