They are good quality card material. They are small and have accurate designs. Amazing product I am very happy with it.The instructions are in Japanese though, but you can find some English ones online. Last picture shows it’s size compared to a standard card. It’s so cute how small it is

Well designed packaging, small handy size that will fit easily in a pocket or travel bag. A fun game for two with an interest in playing something different. We picked up the scoring system very quickly and makes a nice change to look at pictures rather than numbers

Good quality cards with traditional design. All instructions are in japanese mind so you'll need to research how to use them elsewhere :)

Beautiful Japanese playing cards. Was actually shipped from Japan so the included instructions for some games and rules were also in Japanese. You will have to look online for rules to games to play with these cards.The picture can be hard to tell but the packet is I would say pocket sized and the cards sort of resemble Dominoes. Though they are printed on thick black card and not made of plastic.Overall if you like card games or are interested in playing cards these are highly recommended.

Even though these cards are towards the bottom end of nintendo's card range they are still better than a number of hanafuda decks I have seen. The card stock is good quality and thick, the printing is clear and the box inside a box design helps keep the cards in good condition. The deck has the standard 12 suits with no extra cards (like some decks have). Even the Japanese instructions add to the experience.

If anyone is Interested the cards themselves are 3.3cm - 5.5cm but are very solid, unlike regular playing cards.They feel great to play with and they ooze quality! Definitly worth the wait and the extra cash for this product beacuse the plastic case they include is super handy.

Bought these as a gift for my partner who recently got into the game. They are smaller than I thought but the quality is excellent. Very well made, lovely to play with.

De siempre escuché "cartas hanafuda" para comentar los orígenes de Nintendo, pero nunca había tenido unas en mis manos...Calidad estupenda, buenos acabados, buenos colores....Llamativo... pues el tamaño, las imaginaba algo más pequeñas que nuestras cartas de Naipes... pero son más o menos como una caja de cerillas, en cuanto a largo y ancho... lo que es el paquete entero (imagen del artículo), será como dos cajas de cerillas (de las pequeñas).Estoy mirando que tipos de Hanafuda, (o al menos ediciones distintas) existen. Y lo que es más importante... buscar las instrucciones en un idioma que comprenda... por que el japones del panfleto que va dentro como que no...Por el precio que tiene, si alguien tiene ilusión de poder decir que ha disfrutado de los orígenes de Nintendo, no puede dejar escapar este artículo. Recomendado.

Just a cool piece of Nintendo history. Well made with the quality you expect from Nintendo. Nice shelf piece but you can learn and play if you like!

Other than the Mario theme, these are EXACTLY like the ones we played with at the Nintendo Museum in Kyoto. EXACTLY size, thickness, quality 👌 all great!They are NOT meant to be the same same as American playing card for poker or what have you. These are the cards Fusajiro Yamauchi San originally made to play hanafuda. Perfect for any true Nintendo fan! If you don't know Japanese you will need to translate the instructions, or find them online, I am sure Nintendo has them somewhere.
