Beautiful, stylish item, the gold is fabulous and not at all tacky. Lovely flock, almost velvety texture to the black, it’s a good size, very easy to fit (just screws onto the bulb holder) BUT…you can’t adjust how high it sits in relation to the bulb so from all sides, some of the bulb shows from under the bottom edge of the shade. That means most of the ‘shade’ part (dimmed light) is on the upper part of your walls, but from shoulder height down, all light is unshaded and if anyone looks at the lamp, chances are they’re going to be dazzled as the shade doesn’t cover the bulb from any angle, really. You can see what I mean from the photo. You can turn the lamp so the lowest side faces you but there’s still a little bulb showing. I wouldn’t pay more than what was asked though, bc of that. It’s more decorative than function.

It’s exactly as advertised. The grey with the warm copper orange colour internally gives a nice warm glow. Very happy with our purchase.
