Yes it is good for running.I was sceptical about this product as it has 5 star reviews and cheaper than some of the other brands on the market. I ordered to see what difference it would make before purchasing more and reviewing it.Initially. I bought this due to a muscle strain from training couch to 5 km. As soon as I got it, I put it on. The relief was immediate and my ankle/foot pain eased significantly. Day 1, I iced my ankle repeatedly. Day 2, I wore the brace from sun up to sun down. Day 3 same as Day 2, but started walking. Day 4 to Day 7, I wore the brace all day and walked. Now I just wear the brace during exercise. It makes me feel confident that I won't injure my ankle.I have a tendency to get ankle sprains in the same ankle I injured with a muscle strain. So far I haven't had any problems with this product and bought 3 more to be able to have one in the wash and 1 to use. The other 2 are for my partner.

Bought this to help with my calf pain which I suspected was due to a weak ankle.Previously I had used calf compression sleeves.On first use (without my calf sleeve) there was no further pain during or after exercise.Certainly works for me.Only complaint is that the top rib stitching became detached in one place and you need to be careful with the velcro pads (don't let them attach to the sleeve itself).Overall recommended.

I bought this because I’m an avid gym fan, but I’m dealing with a long-term back injury, which has caused residual pain in my ankle and hip. I’m relatively young, but these problems are chronic and cause me a lot of discomfort which inhibits my training schedule. Having tried many other support braces and been highly disappointed, this one is firm enough, tight enough and fits perfectly. Furthermore it feels really well-made and is quite stylish as it is in black and I wear legwarmers over the top. I highly recommend this product and have every intention of buying a second one. Give it a go!

Liked the fact its sock like and fits comfortable around ankle when wearing trainers or boots.Didn't like the fact that if you attach velcro to areas of sock. The velcro rips off the sock material a little, so through time could cause severe baubling effect to sock.Be careful fitting and pay attention to instructions. As I didn't then did and there is a difference.

With a product like this, there should be instructions on how it fits around your foot. I tried all sorts of ways and kept catching and pulling the fabric. Looked at photos and put where I think it should go but felt no support on my achilles
