Can someone tell me the Slot length not width thanks

It does not take a standard size piece of bread in either way you put it, very flimsy too, I thought because of the price, it would be of quality, I recommend you do not get this one, I've sent mine back and got a refund, waste of time , if I manage to get one that is good , I will let you know. ps, if you stand the bread upright, a quarter is hanging out ,lol. worst toaster I have ever see. would not pay a pound for it.
