I have to start out this review by saying that using a piercing gun is never good. They cause the ear more trauma than what is necessary. So if you’re going to do it, just make sure you do your research to learn possible risks. With that being said, I bought this piercing kit to use on both my lobe and cartilage. The first piercing I did was super tough (had to work up some bravery), but after the first, the rest were easy. The kit is extremely self-explanatory and I like that the guns themselves were disposable for sanitary reasons. I was actually impressed with how little pain was involved with the piercing process. The earrings were pretty and shiny, but a little uncomfortable due to pokey backs. I saw some people saying that their earrings became discolored and started turning their skin green. I did not have this experience at all. However, the material did irritate my skin after about 5 days. I switched to a hypoallergenic pair of flat back earrings and the irritation went away immediately. The shape of the earrings also make the piercings difficult to clean. Overall, this kit is worth the $10 I paid for it. I would just recommend changing the earrings shortly after piercing.

They’re really good to use a little big for my liking so I would use a smaller earring! Overall really good!

This product was so great. I pierced four new holes in my ears because it got addicting after the first one. I have had no irritation and it’s been 24 hours. The pain on impact was a very small pinch. Two out of four of the ear guns got stuck when pinching them together. I had to work with them to put the backs on. Product came as described.

This was the first time i pierced my ears myself and using this was so easy. When you’re gonna do it literally just DO IT it’s worse if u stop and go stop and go.

Love this is very easy to use and fast. Quality is very good. But the earrings eventually rust so you do have to switch it out.

I was really excited to receive these because I’ve had positive experiences with similar piercers in the past. Unfortunately, the set I received seems to be defective. I tried using three different units from the package, and none of them functioned properly. The piercing gun is supposed to release with pressure, but even with significant force, it wouldn’t release as expected.I was eventually able to push the earring through manually, but it required too much force—far more than should be necessary. This kind of trauma at the piercing site can increase the risk of complications like keloids and can negatively affect the healing process. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product.
