The watch was what I was looking for, a tool watch that looked great and had the extra features such as the sapphire crystal. So far the watch loses about a minute per week and that is outstanding for the price point and an automatic watch. The lume is easily viewed all night long and is a pleasant blue tint. This has become my daily. There are reasons you may not want to wear a Rolex, Tudor or Omega in some situations. For me this is THE tool watch and the movement and durability has a rich history with the military starting with the Seiko 6309. These were worn in unreal conditions where you don’t wear a watch that can’t take it. Glad to get my hands on this Turtle. It wears great and is comfortable enough for me to wear at night while I’m sleeping. It may be a big case, but it wears as well for me as some of my 38mm cases.

I studied many dive watches, finally narrowing it down to this one and am I ever happy! Great lum, great appearance especially in the sun, that blue face just pops. Perfect size and weight. Hoping to enjoy this for many years.

Spent many an hour searching for the perfect wrist watch for me. Automatic, diver, stainless steel bracelet, under $500. Meet the SRBJ in the Prospect line of Seikos. This watch is amazing. I had to take it to a jewler to have the bracelet links removed, cost $20. It's been on my wrist all day, every day for a few months now. It's not as accurate as a quartz, mine runs slow by about a minute per week. But the esthetics make up for any such complaints. I swear it makes me feel good when I look at it. Like the kind of "feel good" you get when you pet your dog. Ç'

Love the fit and appearance, HOWEVER with in 6 months of purchase it will not keep time with in an hour a week, despite being on an automatic winder, and the day and date function have stopped working, must be reset daily with the time in order to wear. Discussion with Seiko resulted in, mail it in and hope that we cover it under warranty or we will let you know how much it is to repair (my conclusion, we will have your watch 2-6 months and it will probably cost me to have it repaired). I have 20 watches, many automatic, many from Amazon. Sadly this has been the most disappointing purchase, especially for a watch I paid over 500 dollars for. I have better automatic watches from Invicta that I only paid 125.00 for. This was my first and will be my last Seiko purchase. Nothing but good experiences with my Citizen, Bulova, Invicta and even Berny watches.

My new favorite watch for any occasion! I've already gotten so many compliments on this Seiko King Turtle. My friend even bought a similar model because of this watch. I have already worn it down water slides at a water park and had zero issues with waterproofing or durability. Surprisingly accurate movement as well. It is a bit heavier than some of the watches I've worn, but you get used to it pretty quickly. Overall the size of the case is a bit bigger than some but I have sub 7" wrists and it fits fine. Just be careful when you go to adjust the bracelet size. It is pin and collar, not just regular pins. If you're not careful you'll lose the tiny collars like I did the first time I adjusted the watch.

This is a nice looking watch however the face is much darker than it looks in pictures. It is a very dark blue that looks like black unless it is turned just right to the light.

The first watch I got, the band broke. The replacement is holding up well and keeping good time; as expected from Seiko’s Japan movement.

Seiko used to be premium brand. This one loses time, about 5 minutes every two weeks. And this is not a "cheap" watch. My old one wouldn't lose a minute a year
