Purchased as a replacement for a workplace unit whose USB port broke. Works as well as the original, after two months; the original unit lasted about five years before the port issue.

If you were using XP and upgraded to Windows 7, your current touch screen may or may not work. I was using another touch screen and when we went to W 7 there was not a current driver for it. Their web site said you did not need one because W 7 had a built in universal driver. Well this W 7 driver did not work very well. That is when i purchased the Elo touch screen because it did have a W7 driver. The Elo works very well with all applications.

I have purchased several of these for a local chain of stores and they work great. Just make sure you download the latest drivers from ELO if on XP (as, sadly, my customer’s POS machines still are)

Preface: Used with a touchscreen POS (Point of Sale) System. Overview: Its overkill for our needs. Originally purchased several years ago ~ and now with many many large monitor manufacturer's making touch screen monitors for Windows OS, there's really no need to go with an expensive solution like this. We now use Dell Touchscreen Monitors for our POS needs. I would not purchase another Elo Intellitouch although it has served our needs well.
