I read recently that fitting a new nozzle each year can save 10% on fuel co sumption. I took the old nozzle out to identify the size before ordering a new one which came the next dayi think the burner is quieter and now burns hotter as the boiler thermostat cuts out quicker. ( the old nozzle was about 6 years old!) I question it will be hard to see if we make a fuel saving as each season the weather is different but if the saving is 10% then its well worth changing.
