Works well at sea level but struggles at high altitudes.
These Posca pens are fantastic for use on thicker paper, canvas, or hard surfaces. You do need to shake them a bit to get them primed, but at sea level, they work wonderfully. However, I recently took them to Sedona while traveling with my art supplies, and things got interesting. Used to the usual shake-and-push routine, I was caught off guard when, with just a slight tap, the paint exploded out uncontrollably. While the mystical energy of the red rocks may have contributed (kidding, of course!), I’m pretty sure it was due to the change in altitude and pressure.Despite the mess, I was still able to create a beautiful piece. I love these pens for outlining and fine details, but be cautious if you’re using them at higher altitudes—they can get unexpectedly messy!
