Good quality supplement - you get what you pay for
Fish oil is one of those supplements where you really do get what you pay for. I like this brand as it's very good quality. The price can seem to be on the high side but it's worth investing in a good quality fish oil that is quality tested for purity, environmental toxins and heavy metals. Nordic Naturals conducts testing to ensure that their supplements are of the highest standards. The oil comes in a dark blue bottle. A pretty touch but actually exposure to light causes fish oils to oxidise so I'm pleased to see that the oil is protected in dark glass. I would expect that from this brand, but it's still worth pointing that out.It does have a slight fishy taste - which is to be expected - but the lemon flavour masks it well. It's securely sealed. So secure in fact that I struggled to get the bottle open. I recommend immersing the plastic lid in some hot water to loosen it. And don't get confused with the inner plastic plug. I first thought it was a dropper like I'd get with an essential oil, but it isn't. It's needs to be removed to pour the oil.

Great
Very mild taste. Literally tastes like lemon water but not sour.Very expensive though, I know it’s lab tested and non GMO etc though so I guess you’re paying for the quality. The only thing I would say is it’s spills when you try to put it on a teaspoon, I wish it had a spout of some sort as I have to keep using this over the sink and little bits of it pour over which is wasteful especially for an expensive bottle that’s not that big.It does have a little plastic stopper in the bottle which I tried to pierce on the inside of the lid thinking maybe it was a spout but it didn’t work. Even after piercing it just a couple of drops came out. Bit annoying.Good addition to any diet though. Much needed in the days of high food costs and declining quality.Quality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Taste ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Bottle Design ⭐️⭐️⭐️Grateful to try 👌

Tiny
Stupidly I overestimated the size of this product, turns out it’ll last me 24 days, which for 40 quid plus is much higher than I’d expect to pay for an omega 3 supplement. The attached photo is the bottle next to a standard salt shaker and teaspoon (NOT a tablespoon)!

This is a fish oil, not soft-gels, and ridiculously expensive!
Firstly I have to say that the description doesn't make it obvious that the fish oil comes in a bottle which you need to measure out for each dose. I usually take Omega 3 in soft-gels so I think that was what I was expecting (although, to be fair, I should have read it more carefully). It arrived wrapped in bubble-wrap with an accompanying leaflet, not in a box, so you need to make sure you keep them together. The ingredients are deep sea fish oil (from anchovies and sardines), a natural lemon flavouring, rosemary extract and an anti-oxidant. The taste is unusual, not exactly horrible but not particularly pleasant either. It is recommended that you take it with food and plenty of water. I was horrified when I looked at the price though - £43.98 - is that right? Maybe because it comes from Norway and goes via the USA for shipping? Still, I wouldn't think many people would buy it at that price.

High quality fish oil with no aftertaste.
These Nordic Naturals fish oil products are really of the highest quality. They have a light, almost neutral lemony flavour with no fish aftertaste whatsoever. They also are produced to the highest standards using anchovies and sardines and every bottle has a bar code on the package which you can scan to see the results of independent quality controls tests carried out by a third party laboratory.I was a little bemused by the dosage figures as they effectively work out as a bottle providing about 24 servings. However, the dose they give of 2840mg is over twice the normal figure of 1280, so they are effectively making their product look worse value than it actually is. I normally take about 1280mg of combined EPA/DHA which is in line with the recommendations of most major nutritional advisory bodies. This works out at providing roughly 50 doses per bottle which is more than double the amount you would get if you followed the instructions.
