Arm & Hammer Liquid Laundry Detergent Professional, Sensitive Skin, 5 Gallon (Pack of 1) 640 Loads

The amount of detergent in this jug lasted me 2 years. Saves so much money as it comes out to almost $3 a month only!! Works very well for my family with super sensitive skin too, scent-free, and doesn't leave any residue. I bought a separate pump to use for this so it's easier to use.

Laundry soap! It works great. It’s skin-compatible for two of us who live here, and it’s unscented. Cleaning is subjective without access to a fully functional lab and testing facility. I can only assume it’s working after over 50 years of living on Earth. My laundry experience is not subjective because I have a pretty good idea that it’s working compared to the competition. I refill a gallon at a time. It takes about 20 minutes to fill a gallon, but I only need to refill every 6 months. My wife likes that I write the date on the refillable bottle for each time I refill it. She thinks it’s sexy for her man to do the laundry. And in truth I feel pretty sexy when I do laundry. Ha

So happy with this purchase. To get the cap off my husband used channel locks to get it off and it worked beautifully. I am currently looking for a pump or tap to use on the laundry soap but haven't found one yet. But this is probably one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. I use laundry soap so often I needed something to last me a bit longer and this fits the bill. I also like that it's good on my skin it doesn't irritate my skin and when it comes to really strong smells or dyes my skin will start to break out. Arm and hammer laundry soap has been my go to since I found out my skin reacts badly to dyes and also strong smells. I do like that this laundry soap also has no real smell to it. It smells clean is all I can think of. I could also use any of the arm and hammer laundry soaps and I don't break out from any of the products. No leaks and will be easier to use once I put a tap on it.

Great purchase, no issues

We use this non-scented laundry soap for our small cottage rental business and it's function as a laundry soap is great. However, this jug has a near impossible lid to open. We often have to have several people on our team attempt to pry it off with a screwdriver / other tools as twisting the cap is too challenging. When that doesn't work we usually puncture a hole in the lid or jug to access the soap (which defeats the purpose of a recloseable lid that is sealed from the elements). If the company happens to review these reviews, we love this soap but would really love a different design for the lid that makes it easier for people to open/access and pour out the soap.

I love the product... no complaints whatsoever. Bought it twice already this year on Amazon. I try to be reasonable, honest and accurate with all my Amazon reviews. This one is not critical of the product.. but is a little upset about the current value of the product on Amazon. Thirty eight percent increase in the value since I last purchased it in June does not seem reasonable to me. I messaged Amazon about this and they asked if I wanted to set a price point notification for it.. which I did. Amazon is generally a great place to shop, but please be careful with your value comparisons. I included a photo of my setup for dispensing in the laundry room. I see the complaints about it being hard to open but all you really need is a pair of channel locks to remove the top. Then you can drill a hole in it and insert a spout (which I also purchased here on Amazon).

I had to use an oil filter wrench made for cars to open the lid. I added some with a funnel in a shampoos bottle to pump some in my washing machine. Cleans excellent without the perfumes and dyes .I used it on my HE front loader with no problems .

“I’m pretty proud of this particular life hack. Here’s what I did: Start by buying a 3/4-inch NPT pipe (FYI, a 3/4-inch NPT pipe has a 1-inch outside diameter and a 3/4-inch inside diameter). The cap already has internal threads at the top. Drill or punch a hole through the bottom of the cap, then install the threaded pipe. Next, find a pump that screws onto a 28mm bottle. While 28mm threads aren’t technically compatible with 3/4-inch NPT pipe threads, it’s a well-known trick that this works just fine. Many people use bottle caps (which are also 28mm) to screw onto 3/4-inch pipe. The pump I’m using is very cheap. It actually designed for mechanics to pump oil into a car from underneath it. You can easily find this type of pump by searching for its cap size (28mm). I’ll need to purchase a longer tube to reach the bottom of the jug. I needed something cheap and easy for my wife to use. I just hope it cleans well because there are a lot of parts involved!” The particular pump that you see is actually made for mechanics to pump oil into a car from underneath it. You should be able to find the pump easily by searching the cap size (28mm). I will have to purchase a longer tube to reach all the way to the bottom of the jug. I needed something cheap and easy for my wife to use. I just hope it cleans well because this is a lot of soap!
