Quality is on par
It’s a cheap MCU used for home assistant. Works as it should.

good value for money
The modules are packed in individual antistatic bags with the header pins. The board and soldering quality is good. Have been using them in 24/7 service and have not had any failures. Nice and compact for "built-in devices.

These ESP boards have been working great for my smart home running ESPHome.

Under powered for the pin count
It only has a 300ma regulator so it will brown out if you dare to turn on wifi when you have a sensor attached. Just save yourself the heartache and just get the real WEMOS S2 mini.
