Happy with usage battery doesn’t last forever but works well for the price. Range was good but not extremely far. Easy to use. Clear talking

These walk-in talkies work great. The building i work in recently flooded and the cell phone service is super weak in the basement. Now we can effectively tend to our residents.

Radio works well. Range is, as with ANY radio, based on measurements made under the BEST conditions (on boats in open water). Add walls or trees or any obstruction and that goes WAY down to MAYBE half a mile. Their website, on the Contact Us page, has no phone number, so I'm not sure why they have posted their hours. The email address given on the Contact Us page on their website is "Undeliverable, no such address". The included instruction manual mentions some functions that are programmable via software, but they don't include the software, give you a link to the software, or even the name of the software. Even if they did, there is no way to connect the radio to a computer to use any programming software. The manual says the PX-999s will connect to NOAA weather radio by holding down the Channel Down button--no, it doesn't. The manual says that the cover for the headset is flexible rubber--no, it isn't, it's a hard plastic cover removed by unfastening the screw at the bottom of the cover. Overall, the radio works for 1/2 mile, no weather radio, no way to contact the company.
