Good quality, sturdy and fits standard seed cells
I really enjoyed the quality and fast shipping. It is rigid enough to hold a full tray of seedlings as I walk through the greenhouse and not feel like it will not break. Its lightweight, fits my standard 50 cell count tray and does a great job of maintaining the moisture and water levels needed. The ridges built into the tray are great and are extremely useful.

Very heavy duty, highly recommend.
Fantastic durability. Bought these once, then tried Living Whole Foods brand for $10 less, and I'm coming back to these. No comparison. These ones are very strong and you can pick up a loaded tray and move them around or they can live spanning two supports with unsupported parts and the don't sag or break. The other brand I have to double-up and I've still broken 2 or three of them because they bow and flex.

As advertised. Would buy again.
Simple product, but the trays seem sturdy and hold many soil blocks for me. You get several trays, so it’s ultimately good value for money.

Great seed starting trays that are easy to move around.
Functionality: These are great. Fit my seedlings and are strong enough to hold with one hand during transport. Really like them and after washing they seem ready to go for next years seed starting. Great purchase.

Perfect tray for Micro Greens production
I’ve been growing micro greens for about four years. I use two trays one with holes for seed and medium, which I insert into the second tray which holds water when I irrigate them. I have always used the standard nursery grade 10x20 flats because they were cheap and easily accessible. The problem is they are cheap, and flimsy. They are difficult to move when the soil is wet or the base tray is filled with water. They crack easily when stressed and have a short life, and their true value is difficult to measure because they need to be replaced quite often. I was looking for a tray that would hold up to continuous use, was strong enough to be moved when weighted down by soil and water, would work well with a two tray system and would store easily when not in use. This product checked all the boxes. Note: these do Not come with holes in them, so you will have to drill them yourself. (You can stack five trays and drill the together at the same time. This will give five sets with one order. I use my old 10x20’s without holes as blackout cover. Before I bought these I purchased the Soligt heavy duty tray. Although they are very heavy duty this is the clear winner for micro greens production. You can read my soligt review there.

Good trays
Before buying 1020 trays a person needs to understand what else they're buying to go along with these trays. There isn't really standards for these types of trays so you can buy inserts such as cell trays and then find out they don't match the 1020 tray you bought. These are a shallow tray which is good for SOME of the 72 and 128 cell trays, but not the deep ones. I've mostly bought deep 72 cell trays and they don't match these. One way to solve most the problems other than looking at dimensions for everything is stick with one company or another. I like the longevity and strength of another company's line so I mostly use their products. I also like the fact that their cell trays are deep as that gives roots more area to move into before transplanting. Depending on how you like to transplant and the type of seed you're growing that may be good for you, maybe not. The main point is there's no magic bullet when it comes to these types of trays, however there are the more expensive ones from one company that are rated to last years, while some of these trays will start to deteriorate over a few seasons and then the recommendation is to get rid of them because you get more microplastics into your seedlings by continuing to use ones that deteriorate quicker. This is a type of plastic that's going to start breaking down. You will need to replace these after a few years. The company doesn't say that when I read the product information, but considering this is basically the same type of plastic as ones that do I have to think these do too. To recap, if you want deep cells then these aren't the right trays. Make sure you match cell trays to flat trays so you don't waste money. Next, if you want more than 8 - 10 years out of your trays there's only one company that uses a type of plastic that will last longer than that and it's not Rootrimmer. They're also stronger and stiffer, and cost more. These trays are not a one time investment but they'll last close to a decade, maybe a little longer if you don't use them outside. If they're always outside you probably don't get a decade out of them.

They don’t buckle!!!!
These are excellent, very sturdy. I am able to load these with heavy pots and they don’t buckle! I will be replacing all my cheap trays with these. The standard size pots fit perfectly in the trays.

Ces plateaux sont vraiment très robustes et parfait pour mes plateaux moins haut. Je les utilise avec des plateaux multicellules de 200.

How can such a simple thing go wrong. They didn't. Work fine.

I bought trays, domes and seed starters and you would think their own products would fit together like they said or rather designed them as a pair .... They don't.

I love that these will last years to come for starting plants indoors. They’re sturdy and not flimsy at all.
