Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector [GlasTR EZ FIT] designed for Galaxy Z Flip 5 [2 Pack]

After upgrading my Z-Flip 4 to the 5, I was thrilled with the extra screen real estate on the cover screen (honestly, it was the main reason I upgraded) but it didn't take long before I realized that not only did the phone need a case, but also a glass screen protector. I figured since it was half the size of most protectors, it wouldn't be an issue.I was wrong.The first 3 screen protectors I bought (yes, three different packages, not one package with 3 glass protectors) were a bust. The 3rd one was from a very well known manufacturer that generally produces unquestionably good stuff. Two of the packages came with 2 glass protectors, and one came with 3. In the case of EACH installation, one or up to 3 corners all had rather annoying bubbles that would not, could not be overcome no matter how I tried. This occurred even before I put the case back on. I tried to live with is, but it honestly became an issue with performance along with looking aesthetically frustrating. Yes, first-world problems. I get it. I genuinely thought I could live with it, but no matter what I did, the bubbles simply would not go away, and would often migrate to the center of the screen.Not sure why I decided to try again - but I am endlessly glad I did. Spigen is a very well-known and established company that consistently produces quality work, and in the case of these protectors, they hit it out of the park. The included guide that you place on the phone (while in the folded position) makes installation almost foolproof. I say almost because anyone can screw things up if they don't pay attention. Unlike the 7 previous glass protectors I had purchased (and after one did not install properly, I tried the backup, ordered another package etc) this one seated properly and I cannot stress this enough, 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮. No bubbles at any corners nor within the center section whatsoever.So, what makes this screen protector different from the others? Well, for one it cost a bit more than the others I tried and while I don't know if that was the reason I cannot say. I've purchased many items from amazon that were far cheaper than many other more expensive versions and still came up with a winning combination, so I cannot say for certain, but I CAN say that the 3 original brands I DID try did not work as advertised. That's the long and the short of it.I can finally endorse a protector for the cover screen on the Z Flip 5 that I can feel good about recommending - but again, provided you follow the directions. If you don't plan to do that, then never mind. But I now know which brand I plan to use for virtually every upcoming phone I buy from this day forward for a reason. Congrats to Spigen for nailing this one from the very get-go.

There are some real downsides to this. First of all, it's insanely expensive for a screen protector and, secondly, the instructions are pretty horrible. Since this is for a Z Flip 5 this screen protector is for the outside "flex" window NOT for the internal inside screen. Yet the instructions especially their videos on YouTube are wretched and totally geared towards regular "slab" phones up to the point of going on about redoing your fingerprints - since they are apparently oblivious to the fact that the Flip 5 uses a fingerprint reader on the power on button which is in no way located on the screen.However, even with the above problems the supplied template and screens went on absolutely perfectly. For the first time ever I didn't even have to try to squeeze out bubbles and the placement was perfect. Considering that I also purchased the official Samsung Screen protector for the flex window and it was a pain to install and had bubbles that I couldn't remove this makes the extra cost of this well worth while. One little bit of advice. Since it is absolutely impertive that there be no dust whatsoever when you install the screen make sure that you apply it in a place with no air movement (turn off any fans, AC, anything that moves air while you're applying it), make sure your hands and the table where you're applying it are 100% free of dust, and triple check the front screen after using the provided alcohol wipe, microfiber cloth and dust sticker.

It’s strong, protective, and keeps my phone screen shielded. It’s clear and feels smooth. It’s also really simple to apply onto the phone screen.

I chose this as it fits withing their family of cases. Unfortunately the first one I put on had marks on the corners (imperfections)I could not get rid of. i'll wait awhile and replace it with the second unit next month to see how I fare. It's easy to install, had good instructions, no air trapped underneath, but had imperfections on the corners. I would have given it 5 stars otherwise.The imperfections went away after a couplenof weeks; the phone heated up a bit...it was probably the film between the sheild and screen and the heat evened it out. The second one went on flawlessly.

Product is perfect. Easy to installed 👌. No bubbles at ALL. Please dont do what I did... I went to look at the video for instructions ih how to and when I clicked on the product I saw a picture with 2 screen protectors one on top of the other so I assumed it was both protectors one of top of the other. 1st installation was a breeze. 2nd protector got a bubble. I tried to take it out and then I realized I messed up. Screen only requires ONE protector. Instructions dont say to use only 1 but makes sense. 2 would be overkill protection. instead of throwing away the 2nd protector, I put it on the back of my phone to protect a decal. why would the manufacturer do 2 fronts but none for the back?(still crystal). Just sayin 🤪 😜 🤪 😜.Again, great product. 👍Highly recommend it. 👌

I thought "2 piece" meant one for the outer screen and one for the foldable screen. I was wrong. Two outer screens. Which isn't bad. This is a good product. No bubbles. Easy install. As life should be.
