Great video quality & easy to use
I purchased this video camera for my upcoming YouTube podcast and I am very pleased with my purchase. The camera is easy to use and takes high definition videos and photos. The microphone is quite sensitive and I only need the middle setting to pick up my audio. The view screen can be turned towards me so that I can watch and see myself while I am recording. This is important because I do not have to guess at what I am recording such as how the video is framed. The remote works great and I use it instead of the buttons on the camera itself. The zoom function which can be controlled with the remote allows me to hide my desk and the remote in my hand in order to concentrate on my face while I am speaking. You can install an app on your cell phone and connect with the camera via wifi. The light panel which is included is bright, but I decided to add some additional lighting as well in order to get as clear a picture as possible. I also purchased a tripod which attaches to the bottom of the camera. All in all, a wonderful piece of technology and a steal at the price.

Great gift for any age!
Got this as a gift for our 10yr old nephew for Xmas. He loves it! He recorded everything over the holidays! We wanted to get him off the devices, but use this device to create his own “show”, that the family can edit. Easy to use and understand the functions. Gives you a “2000’s” vibe, handheld, with the tripod! So cool, and classic! Size is perfect for his hands and ours! The strap sizes to fit most!

Easy to use, I used this professionally, great quality for footage
I LOVE THIS CAMERA. It’s easy to use, compact and comes with all the accessories. It’s easy to transfer the footage to a computer for editing. It has a microphone that is incredible. I filmed for dance competitions and it worked just as well as a lapel mic for recent productions. If you want easy, and gets the job done, plus great price, try this camera.

Picture Quality - Affordability
CONS: Not high quality material for the exterior of the camera body itself. Nothing is defective and nothing has broke. It's just the feel. So far that is my only dislike about this purchase. I knew I wasn't buying a top of the line unit and I didn't expect one, but what I did get was a darn good camera for the money. PROS: Picture quality - Lightweight - Operation ease - Reliability - Extras - Nice lengthy battery life. There are still a few functions that I haven't explored yet, but from what I know by operating it quite a bit over this last month on the slopes skiing, keeping tabs on the yard, photos of the sky (day&night) and just kind of playing around and exploring the functionality, I can confidently say that I am not disappointed with this purchase. If you are a professional or are extremely knowledgeable about cameras you may have a different opinion than me about this camera but I feel as though anyone looking for a utility/recreational camera like this one, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Awful camera!
I have no clue how this camera has such a high rating. First of all, it is a super cheap plastic casing - but for the price, I didn’t expect much more. I did, however, expect that the sound and picture quality would be good based on the reviews. It was not. Here’s my experience: I recorded my son in a play. I used the attachable microphone, a fully charged battery, and I put in a Sandisk Ultra 256SD card (made for recording in 4K and 8K) because the play was about 45 minutes long & I was going to be recording in 4K. Twenty-eight minutes into the recording, I noticed that the recording timer was back at 1 minute. Weird, but I didn’t think anything of it at the time. The battery died at 42 minutes, but they are supposed to last 2 hours each. When I got home, I removed the SD card to download the video on my computer so I could share it with family. Imagine my surprise when there were 2 files on the SD card. For some reason, the camera stopped recording and then started over in a new file. The play was basically cut in half. Next was the sound quality. Not great. It sounded very hollow and echo-y. Lastly is the picture quality. Honestly, my iPhone 15 Max has a better picture quality than this camera. It was grainy, the people were washed out and the colors weren’t right. For example, some of the backlighting was bright purple and in the playback it looked like a light blue. Just awful! So, now I have a ruined recording of my kid’s last theater competition play and it’s because the reviews on this camera aren’t accurate AT ALL. I wasn’t expecting professional quality in the least, but I did expect it to be better than my phone or my old, digital video camera from 20 years ago. Will be returning immediately.

Great all round video camera and snap shots
Very pleased with the video camera for the price. The external microphone is a great asset to the camera, just have to remember to turn it on or there won't me any sound in your picture. The dual battery charger is a great thing to have. Picture quality is very good. And taking pictures like a camera is another great attribute to the camera. Battery life seems pretty good, even when you are running the microphone on the camera. I haven't run the extra light yet, that runs on its own power supply, and it stacks up in top of the mic or the camera. I can see where the remote control is going to be a great feature. Only down side I have, I had to down load a program to convert the videos to a format the my Corel Studio Video would support. I found a free one that works great "Hand Brake". That takes a little while to convert the video mp4. The other thing I don't like is the battery and SDS card is on the bottom of the camera. So with my attachment for quick hookup to my tripod, I have to remove my attachment to replace the battery or SDS card each time. The camera handles a 256 mb card just fine.
