I need a Cane if walking long distance or in hilly areas. I’ve used a walking stick in the past, but my hands would tire from gripping it. The cane-like grip is much more comfortable and provides better support.

These hiking poles are nice ... if you happen to be 5 ft 4 in or shorter. If you're taller than that, keep looking. They are lightweight, and quite nice. They just don't extend long enough to be of much use for people taller than 5 ft 4 in. The "markings" on the pole go to 110cm (no imperial measurement markings). Even at the 110cm mark, they are a bit short for me (I'm 5' 8"). A "properly fitted" hiking pole should leave your forearm straight/parallel with the ground, with your upper arm and forearm at 90° angles, as you grasp the handle of the hiking pole. Still, I'll give these to my kids (both Cub Scouts) to use on their monthly pack hikes.

Handvat is te smal en polsband is te klein voor grote hand en brede pols.Polsband loopt door handvat heen en kan zich (te) gemakkelijk draaien, waardoor dit oncomfortabel wordt bij het lopen.Ik kan dit artikel helaas niet meer terugsturen, omdat bij het terugduwen naar de oorpronkelijke positie het middelste gedeelte niet mee wilde geven. Zodat de poot van de wandelstok buiten de doos kwam te liggen en Amazom naar mij een de doos in een te strakke verpakking / papieren omhulsel / zak heeft gedaan, waardoor er onmogelijk iets retour kan lworden gestuurd!Ook belangrijjk is het om te melden dat in de doos er GEEN installatiehandleiding bij zat!
