Dreadful
I read quite a few negative reviews BUT I thought that I would be one of the lucky ones - whereby I would be able to charge my laptop and use the other usbC outlet for other uses. Neither of them worked. I tried all the troubleshooting available and I finally decided to stop wasting my time and return the item. The charging port did not work on any of my phones or laptops. This was a waste of time and money. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Ideal for travelling light.
When a USBc multi-port is too big, this simple 2-way USBc splitter does the job. I use it for a Samsung tablet and also for a Samsung mobile phone. It will take an SD card reader and USBc earplugs. It will take an SD card reader and a charge plug. It will take 2 SD card readers. When not in use it takes a very small storage space. Ideal for travelling light.

Doesnt work as intended
Tried to use this on my phone and on my steam deck.It just doesnt work properly with lower wattage chargers.Ive tried 45W and 100W chargers.on 45W:Data works fine and charging reports that its working. However it doesnt actually charge the devices.Im getting weird results where it seems to allow just enough power through to maintain the device but the battery will still drain, so im guessing its not pulling much power through while the devices battery has a charge but does allow power through as the device stays on when battery is at 0%.. it just doesnt seem to be negotiating to get enough power to maintain the device AND charge the battery, which would be the whole point of using this type of cable. On 100W:The Charging seems to be working fine and the Data also seems to be fine. This seems to be abit hit and miss, meaning i need to carry a third party charger just to have this cable work as it cant work with charger my devices are supplied with

Does exactly what it says it will do.
It works flawlessly. If you're using it with an external device, ensure you unmount the device before connecting or disconnecting the USB-C power cable. Inserting or removing the power cable will cause the external device to disconnect and then reconnect, so unmounting is crucial to prevent data loss.

Didn't work for me. Don't bother.
I wanted to use this to make it easier to manually charge an outside camera in winter when the solar panel can't do much. I just wanted to plug the splitter in and then swap the solar panel with a usb charger to make the process easier. But it just doesn't work. It charges for about 20 seconds and then quits. If I take the splitter out of the loop and plug the USB C cable straight in to the camera, it works perfectly. So it's this splitter that's not working.
