After hitting menopause, I started getting uncomfortably dry and found some suppositories online and they did work but cost a fortune. Plus someone said in a review that they had bad chemicals in them. I knew it must be possible to make my own since coconut oil gets hard and white in the refrigerator. I thought about making my own but then found these gems. WOW! They save me so much money and are so extremely easy to use to make my own. I am thrilled! Before I could only use them sparingly but now I can use them every night if I want to! I sleep with a towel under me to prevent oil from leaking onto the sheets and I often put a pillow under my hips to elevate things and keep it in place but it's great! It comes with eye droppers so you can put our warmed up / liquified coconut oil in the capsule. Then when it's hardened in the refrigerator and ready to use you take off one of the caps and push it out with the tool they provide. It pops right out (much easier than the foil packets I was trying to open using the expensive ones). I could not be happier that I found these and they are sturdy so I think they will last my lifetime. Great investment! I have a friend who owns a Lifestyle clinic and she told me about the "O-shot" that women can get which really helps with dryness so my goal will be to try that since it's supposed to last about a year, but in the meantime, these are cheap and work great!

Overall, I appreciated the thoughtfulness that went into the design of these molds, and the careful instructions that addressed common issues. As pictured in the listing, this set includes four molds and makes a total 24 suppositories. I used the molds for several weeks before writing this review. PROS A small batch of six suppositories allows you to test a certain formula without committing to an entire bath. I found this to be very handy. As mentioned, the molds are well designed. The kit includes removable plastic caps for the suppository tips and a plunger to loosen the suppository from the mold, if needed. The approach/complexity differs substantially from a one-piece silicone mold, and encourages concentration during what would typically be a fairly mindless task. NOTES Some dexterity is required, due to the many pieces and parts. If this is a concern, consider a silicone mold, instead. This mold does not support hot liquids. You must first cool the mixture before pouring. A small hand blender (like a smoothie blender) is very effective in mixing thoroughly to get the best results. As mentioned by other reviewers, you may lose or break some of the caps eventually. This means you wind up with three molds and use the fourth mold for replacement parts. CAUTION It's REALLY important to thoroughly blend the ingredients before pouring them into the mold. Without blending, certain essential oils may pool in the tip, and fail to solidify (even after freezing). To your health!

I got my order and cleaned it like stated in the directions in warm soapy water. Gotta keep a good eye on the plastic tips! They can get lost quite easily! But they cleaned up nicely, and I used cocoa butter and my ingredients of choice to fill them up. I used the pipettes that were supplied, worked great for me.. I tried pouring in from something with a pour spout but ended up spilling a good bit of my mixture.. disappointing to say the least! :/ So, I got a pipette out from the bag and used it to fill the rest of the molds, easy peasy! Just make sure the mixture is cooled down.. I solidified my first batches in the freezer… and the last in the fridge. I had better success with cooling and hardening them in the fridge. The freezer made four or five of the suppositories brittle and they fell apart when I popped them out. The fridge ones were perfect coming out of the mold! The size of the suppositories are not too big, the finished product work comfortably! It’s my first time using suppositories… not as difficult as I thought it would be! I highly recommend these molds!

If you make your own suppositories these molds work great. I vigorously mix together coconut oil, vitamin E and Manuka honey until softened then pour into molds then freeze. The mixture I use is pretty thick so i use a small spoon and drop a little at a time into molds and gently bang on counter to bring to bottom until full. I don’t heat the mixture because it will separate ingredients when frozen. Once frozen take out as needed and just pop one out. The tips are removable, you just press on the other side of mold when frozen and they pop right out. It comes with 4 sets of molds and several suction tubes to extract your ingredients and squeeze into molds but I didn’t find a need for them.

I like everything about these trays. Easy to fill, easy to remove, the shape is easy to insert. The trays are a great size, they fit in the unused areas of my fridge easily. I'm a big fan of simple and easy and these fit the bill. The pushing rods are great and work well. No problems with removing the mold from the tray with them. I have not used to pipettes that were also included as I have my own measured droppers, but it is a nice addition for those that don't have their own. All in all, a great little kit that comes with everything you need except the filling. :)

I didn’t really believe the good reviews after I tried to do it without a mold. My Dr. told me to just make a little ball and work my crushed pill into it. That was messy and completely impossible even when tried different methods. So I got this as a last ditch effort. Works exactly as advertised. I got the coconut junk heated just enough that it was liquid and then right into the freezer about an hour. Good lighting will help you know how much to fill them. Most fell right out and they give you a poke stick for the rest. Never had to push hard. No crumbles. I think it will depend on what you’re doing but this seems to be the sort of thing people are buying it for.

I had this on my wish list for ages and I'm sorry I waited on this. Over the counter suppositories never eased my pain. I wanted to make simple coconut oil suppositories and this mold works perfectly! I pour melted coconut oil in, there is a space on top to keep it from overflowing. I then pop them into the freezer. The cold from the freezer also helps with the pain. Simply pull the little point off the mold and the suppository pops out. Fantastic product, well worth the money.

These are great suppository molds. They are well made. Using Cocoa Butter as your base and adding the ingredients pertaining to your personal needs it is very easy to fill the molds. I let the cocoa butter harden at room temperature and when solidified I place them in the freezer for storage. Remove from freezer, remove cap and they practically fall out (You receive "pusher rods" to push them out if needed). Replace the cap, and put back in freezer. Once you emptied one module of 6 molds, just wash in hot soapy water, rinse and let dry. These molds are a bit pricey but they appear to be good quality and perhaps they are of medical grade. The caps are a little hard to see while cleaning so be sure to use precautions when washing as not to lose them. I usually keep the plug in the sink and make sure i have all caps before i drain the water. The suppositories are very well formed thus allowing easy insertion and good retention. It's a good product that works very well. Highly recommended.
