Great quality item, keeps the cold winter winds out. I've warn it in about -10 with moderate winds, so I can't vouch for it up Everest. Like having a warm hug from your favourite childhood teddy bear.

Very snug and warm. Fits nicely and tightly around my neck and can easily cover and hold over my mouth/noise when required. I'm not sure how big your head will have to be for this to be too tight but I have big hair and this fits just fine and doesn't feel like it's losing its grip.

Really well made! I thoroughly recommend this for outdoor activities or just for day to day use. This will now be permanently in my bag or aroubd ny neck until Spring!Very comfortable and has good levels of insulation without being too bulky. I was thinking of going for the heavyweight version and I don't think I'll need it for the UK winter and how I layer up.

this item is very slim and is not meraklon as i remember it it's not suitable for larger adults it's way too small and has minimal elasticity

I bought this for using primarily for cycling and running in the cold winter months. It's proven very worthy for these activities so far - great for a morning cycle when it's chilly. However it proved itself amazingly useful when I took it on my D of E expedition in Exmoor (in October). Up on the moors where it was stupidly windy and cold it was a life saver! It comfortably went over my nose, chin and covered all of my neck and just below. It's tight enough to stay on your face when brought up and loose enough to take off/on without ripping your face off! It shields your face from the wind but still allows you to breath without difficulty. For when it's not windy, but still cold (in the morning or evening for instance) it's just as useful. Although it can make your neck very warm if the temperature begins to rise in your surroundings. To my great annoyance I managed to loose it on my last day of walking, and I will happily buy another. If anyone is walking in that area and finds it, I'd recommend you keep the little beaut (but wash it a few times, there're a lot of cows up there!).Overall I'd give it 9.8/10 (the other 0.2 would be added if it were slightly cheaper and less-losable!). This is must buy for anyone who cycles, runs, walks, plays sport, or doesn't like the cold. Best purchase I've made this year!
