My kid has used the toddler-sized Little Sleepy Head pillow since she was 2 1/2 years old. However, she tosses and turns a lot in her sleep, and the toddler pillow was just too small to accommodate that movement. So we upgraded to this size. A regular queen-sized pillow is either way too high for an eight-year old, or the feather ones are too flat (plus the feathers poke you in the cheek). When it arrived, the down-like fill pillow was too flat. The toddler pillow is small, but it's stuffed pretty full and even after over six years of using and washing it, it's still much firmer than this youth-sized pillow. So my kid tried it for a few nights, but it just wasn't working out. So I contacted the manufacturer and asked about the "love the fluff" guarantee card that came with the pillow. I'm a seamstress and was willing to open our pillow up and add new stuffing if the company would send it, or I offered to send the old pillow back if that was better. Instead, Chris, the owner, reached out to me and offered to send a new pillow, custom stuffed with more stuffing to be more like the toddler pillow. What a great offer! She also told me she'd send me the tracking info, but the new pillow arrived before she even had a chance to do that. The new pillow is just what the eight-year-old ordered. :) My kid loves it and is sleeping on it every night and while she still tosses and turns off the pillow most evenings, she also tosses and turns right back onto the pillow for most of her sleep. Bonus: I'd been using the toddler pillow to prop up my arm after an elbow injury, but now that we have a flatter youth Little Sleepy Head pillow, I've been using that and it is perfect for elevating my forearm enough to not have pain at night any more. Count us as very satisfied customers. We will be recommending this pillow and this company to all of our friends!

Pillows would be comfortable with the adjustable loft but the pillow encasement feels like plastic and is thus uncomfortable for sleeping even with a pillowcase and a pillow protector - for our house in a hot climate. I’m considering moving the loft out of the encasement to a pillow protector - would return if had original box but I think this is a small company and don’t want to be unfair.

The original pillow we received was great! The fabric is pretty soft without a pillowcase, and the pillow is just the right balance of squishy yet supportive...like laying on a cloud (mom & dad like it, too) . It arrived quickly, and there was no weird or particular smell when unpacking it, either. The initial wash was quite a success, with easy care instructions, and the pillow maintaining its original softness, fluffiness, and form. The only issue was that it was just a bit too fluffy for our little one. She liked lounging on it, but would roll off of it before falling asleep. She is quite little, so we reached out to the company to see how we might be able to receive a less-fill pillow instead. Their customer service is absolute outstanding! They responded quickly and were so kind and caring about our family's needs. Within two days of working out the details, the new pillow arrived with a sweet personalized note included. And it's the perfect size for our toddler! She sleeps on it all the way through the night. We're beyond happy with our purchase and would recommend this pillow and this company to anyone. We bought this pillow for our 5 year old who was getting too big for the toddler pillow we had, but was too small to use even a flat standard-sized pillow. I read many MANY reviews before settling on this one, and I'm glad I did. The first pillow that got delivered was damaged (there was a hole on the side of the pillow about 1 1/2" - 2" long where the stuffing was able to fall out). Through that hole, I was able to see and feel the stuffing, and I can confirm, it is soft and fluffy. I contacted the Little Sleepy Head Pillow Company directly through their website about the issue, and they emailed me back within a couple of days to get more details. The company mailed me a new pillow right away, which arrived in perfect condition. My daughter has now been loving sleeping on it for the past month and a half. The youth pillow is exactly the right height for her. It washes well in the washing machine and dries up fluffy. We also fluff the pillow at night before she goes to bed, and in the morning, it still has good volume. We have been super happy with this pillow and I have to say the 5 star rating is for both the quality of the product itself and the 5 star customer service.

I'm a 62 y/o woman who goes through pillows like socks. I just could never find one comfortable for me. I noticed that when I stay at a friend or relative's house, I gravitated to small throw pillows and slept better than at home. So, my adventure into small pillows began. This pillow is small, but not too small. I guestimated correctly as to which size to get. The height is perfect. The material allows me to scrunch away and then it resumes it's shape. I am rough on my pillows. I act like they are made of dough and really squish and twist them. I've had it several months and the fill is just as it should be. Not so with other pillows. I've tried them all!! This is the only pillow that allows me a good nights sleep without constant fluffing and tossing and turning. I haven't had to wash it, yet, but I have high hopes that it will turn out well. I am 5'4", if that helps. I don't have a huge head. LOL! The pillow does not make my head sweat which is a problem for some materials. I am super happy with it and sleep better than I have in years. No kidding. I'll get another when needed, but this will last a long time. It still holds its shape and it is very well made.

I had no idea that kids need to be sleeping on smaller pillows for safety reason. Decided to get this pillow. It’s very soft and comfortable.

The regular fill was too much for my baby. He sleeps in a dockatot grand and kept moving up to use the bumper pads as a pillow so I knew it was time to get him one. Although hes only 10 months old, so I looked into the best one available. Since the regular fill was too much, I got a less fill pillow and its perfect. The wonderful thing about this family company is that the can custom fill your pillows. Its absolutely perfect. Pricey, but well worth it. Its extremely comfortable it feels like down. I'm always all for supporting small family business, and even more over they went out of their way to provide great customer service. Extremely happy.

Amazing it's just the coveres are so very expensive too :( but well worth investing!
