Are the headphones wired to the metal detector or are they wireless using blue tooth or something similar?

The headphones are wired, but they connect to a wireless transmitter that you can clip on your belt or place in your pocket. The transmitter communicates wirelessly to the detector.

Is this detector good for underwater metal detecting? if so, what’s the max depth? i scuba dive, and need one for atleast 50 ft. thanks

I have not tried it underwater yet, but they state in the instructions that it only goes to a depth of 10 foot.
