Big, sturdy school bag with lots of room
Bought this rolling backpack for my 9-year-old son, and it’s exactly what he needed for school. The storage capacity is impressive – it easily fits all his books, lunch, and even his laptop when needed. The organization is great with the multiple compartments and side pockets. The straps feel sturdy and supportive when he chooses to carry it on his back, and the travelability of the wheels and handle makes it easy for him to roll when the bag is heavy. It’s a little on the weight side when fully packed, but overall, the protection and space it provides makes it worth it. A solid choice for kids who need a big, reliable bag.

Worked great for 1 year
Sturdy but only lasted a year before the handle broke off. My kids use these for school and they have to carry a lot of items throughout school due to little time between classes.

Best choice for kids backpack.
Good quality product. The material is long lasting and the design is beautiful. My daughter loved it and it keeps all her notebooks and books organized. It has a lot of space. Very comfortable to use.

Great bag
I'm a substitute teacher so I carry a mini classroom with me wherever I go. This bag holds it all! When packed, it doesn't have the shape shown in the photo, however. The pockets/sections are perfect for my needs. I typically carry a 40 oz water bottle, a lunch tote, a laptop with charger and mouse, various books, papers and files (in case there are no lesson plans) the usual teacher overabundance of pencils, pens, markers, colored pencils and crayons, some personal items in a smaller pouch, some office supplies, snacks and at this time of year, a hat, gloves and scarf in case I have to take kids outside for recess. It all fits in this bag!The telescoping handle is sturdy but does wiggle a bit when fully extended. The wheels are smooth and roll over almost every type of surface effortlessly. I haven't carried it as a backpack, it's too heavy for me with a laptop and books/papers inside (which is why I picked one with wheels). The zippers are sturdy, smooth and have nice pulls attached. The product info shows the outer mesh pockets being used to hold an umbrella and travel cup but they're not tall enough. Anything I put in them, that's taller than the pocket, just falls out while I'm rolling it. It is pretty well balanced and stays upright! I saw reviews for other rolling backpacks that wouldn't stand upright when packed. I haven't had that issue with this one at all!! It has a very sturdy padded handle on top for lifting up steps or into the car.

I’m so impressed with the backpack’s quality, functionality & design at a very reasonable price! My 11 yo loves the black & blue “plaid” design, and the rolling wheels. It backpack can fit his extra thick school binder, hoodie, lunch bag, water bottle & more!

Handle malfunctioned in three months. Seller and manufacturer said it was customer's fault without even asking for any info.
I purchased the bag for my middle school daughter because she loved the pattern. Although I read the review on the handle problem, I still went ahead because I thought it might be an isolated case, and even if the problem did occur later, it would be covered under the manufacturer's three year warranty. I was wrong! In less than three months, the handle malfunctioned - it could not be pushed down. By all means, my daughter used it normally. She is a gentle girl and takes care of her things. The bag still looked very new, and there was no physical damage at all. I contacted the seller. Their reply was that manufacturer "stated if the handled worked properly initially, the handle housing must have been damaged by some sort of shock and causing the housing unit to be bent. This would not be covered under the warranty as, only manufacturer defectives would be covered". This was a very irresponsible statement made by the manufacturer and the seller. It is ridiculous that without asking for any information or looking at the bag, a conclusion was made that it was the customer's fault and not a manufacturer's defect. The seller said they could not help me and asked me to contact the manufacturer directly. I then looked up the manufacturer JWorld's webiste. There was NO phone number listed on the website, only email contacts. I have sent them two separate emails and to date still have not heard from them. While JWorld's bags do look pretty, quality is clearly an issue, and the manufacturer's warranty is a hoax.Update on January 9, 2013 - The manufacturer responded after two emails and the above post. They sent me instructions to take out the handle and said they would send me a replacement handle. I spent some time to take out the handle, wrote a reminder email to them and expected the new handle would come soon. Two weeks later, I still had not received anything nor did I hear from them again. I sent them an email again, inquiring about when they were going to ship the handle - no response from the maunfacturer. After a week, I sent another email - no response again. I'm going to write them an email again today.

Durable backpack and great customer service!
My daughter loves this backpack for middle school. She has a lot of stuff to stuff in it and it has several pockets and zippers. We have had it for almost 9 months and the backpack itself barely shows any wear.We live in a warm climate so she walks outside between classes. She also walks home with the bag nearly every day over asphalt, concrete and a section of dirt. Because of this rough uneven surface the wheels have a hard time. In January one wheel literally feel off. Now another wheel has fallen off.Since the backpack is under warranty, both times customer service has been fast to send replacement wheels. (To contact their customer support, go to the company’s website.)Definitely recommend but watch out for the wheels.
