Works for drawbridge / amiga
This works for drawbridge (robsmithdev), for anyone looking to modify this for Amiga use. There are no screws (that I found) on the case, and it does seem to be glued at one post at the back, but be careful gently prying it open from front sides to back, and that will snap. Then it will fit back together well after modifying, but will need to be glued back together. Works great!

Buy cheap get cheap, Barely functional drive
Okay, so I found a handful of floppy disks that I had from 20+ years ago. Before recycling them, I decided to buy a cheap external drive to check what teenage me had stored. The drive crashed on the first use, nearly crashed on the second use, and finally, I managed to get it to transfer files, but it is incredibly slow. Keep in mind, the total data size is at most 1MB.For the first disk, it managed to transfer the two files. On the second disk, it kept failing to transfer a 1MB file due to an I/O object error, after attempting for a couple of minutes. On the third disk, it took a couple of minutes before informing me that it had failed to transfer the file.A couple of the disks transferred the files fine after a long "not responding" period. In many cases, you need to disconnect and reconnect the drive to get it to read a new disk; otherwise, it just presents the information from the previous disk.At one point, after using about eight disks, I ejected one and the drive started making a disturbing clicking and whirring sound, like it was broken.

Easy Floppy Disk Access
I just plugged it into my laptop via a usb socket put an old floppy disk with some very important pictures on the disk and select drive A on screen which brought up list of disk contents. I selected all the images and then call them up on screen to view the quality was better than my original floppy disk drive writing. Great Purchase, Easy to use with windows 10 would purchase again. Seems well built.

Compatible with Floppybridge
This is a genuine TEAC manufactured mechanism and works great with Rob Smith's Floppybridge for use on an Amiga emulator to archive old disks. A previous review mentioned opening the case, the screw is under the round sticker on the bottom and doesn't need to be broken open and glued back together again. If you are buying this solely for use on a Windows PC it won't work on anything higher that Win98, but will work on Win11 for Floppybridge.

ROBSMITHDEV AMIGA DRAWBRIDGE COMPATIBLE - Yes this is the one
Not much to say about it other than this is indeed the one that will work with RobSmithDev's Amiga DrawBridge hardware.Good stuff. For me the drive inside was clearly used, but who cares, it works great.
