I got this for a family member who lives in a heavily wooded, remote area and was dealing with a persistent bat infestation in their attic. I put two of these in my barn, bats fly all around it, right over the top of it, in front of it, hasn’t changed anything. Bats are unaffected.

This is our second order for these bat repellent item. They work well, the bats just moved around to the other side of the house. I am not aware of any noise and they do not bother my dog either. Where you plug in the power is awkward, but we have made them work.

Really easy to install. Plug it in, adjust the setting to the desired levels. Durability? It is a plastic little box with prongs on the back to plug it in. Don't drop it. Don't leave it out where it can be exposed to the weather, or it will short out. Worst part? No effect after a solid month. I've tried changing settings after a few days. No effect. Two of these within less than 10 feet of the worst area. The noise level does not bother people. Or pets. Or bats, for that matter. I paid over $120 for a couple of ineffectual plastic bookends.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: So I read all the reviews on this and how great it was. I bought 2. The bats are not in the attic like I thought they were, they are actually in like the overhang potion on the home. Anyway I put the device in the attic facing the outside of the home where they are and I tried on the low setting and after a month or month and half went to the high setting. Well it int do much so maybe putting it outside would help vs the attic? However I don’t have any plug in that would reach that high due to the peak of the house is so tall. For me it’s not working as well as I thought. Because I can still hear them in the outside of the home. Hopefully others have better luck
