very happy, good grip and stands upright
its a good piece of kit. the steam deck still fits in the official storage case with the cover on, and the gripcase itself lets you stand the steam deck up on a table with confidence. it doesnt wobble or tip. Great for crowding the kids around a table when on holiday.

Perfect Protection and Comfortable Grip
The Skull & Co. GripCase SD for the Steam Deck is an excellent purchase! The case offers full protection and the textured grips make it incredibly comfortable to hold, especially during long gaming sessions. I also love the built-in stand, which makes viewing the screen hands-free much easier. It fits the Steam Deck perfectly without adding too much bulk ( Bonus it also fits in the original case )

Awesome Case !!
I have the OLED 512gb model, fits well, feels great. Because it has a flat bottom it can be stood up. Mine also does fit in the carry case with this case attached? unsure why other users are having problems.10/10 love it

Does not fit in the OLED Steam Deck Case!
I've read a number of misleading reviews here, and to be fair the manufacturer does state this quite clearly on this page, but:YOU CANNOT USE THIS WITH THE OFFICIAL OLED CASE.WIth this grip fitted, the Steam Deck will (almost) sit in the case, but you won't be able to close and zip it without damaging the joysticks. This is because the OLED case is moulded exactly to the shape of the Deck (to give it maximum protection.Nor will it fit in the official Steam Deck Dock. With that out of the way, everything else about this grip is fantastic. Of course it makes the Steam Deck a bit heavier, and it definitely feels bigger in the hands, but it's arguably more comfortable (even for someone with relatively small hands like me).The absolute best feature is that you can stand your Steam Deck up on a flat surface for gaming with a Bluetooth joypad, and it's surprisingly stable like this. This is great for long train/plane journeys when you want to recline your set and give your arms a bit of a rest.It baffles me that the Steam Deck doesn't have a built-in kickstand (like the Nintendo Switch), but this grip is the next best thing, and well worth a purchase.Except, now my OLED case is redundant, and I have to go looking for a decent replacement.

Light, practical and stylish
Over all this is a great grip for the steam deck and even better for the price. Worth the hype.Pros :-base of grip becomes a study 40 degree stand on hard/ridged surfaces.-thin and streamlined. Great qulity over all with a machine finsh.-packaged well for storage.-not too bulked.Cons:-slightly heavy with the grip on but still a good weight over all.

Good
Great case, makes it more comfortable to hold. Only downside is it makes the steamdeck official case a little bit tight on closure. This doesn't bother me personally but important to note if it may bother you.

Clever design, perfect grip
Having looked at all the options, I think this has to be the best grip for the Deck. They've put a lot of thought into the design details, it fits perfectly and creating a stand by simply making the bottom flat is genius. Best of all, it (just) fits in the official case, so no need to buy a new case. Plus, you can still use the official dock by standing it in front.I bought this because I found the shape of the Deck a bit slippery to hold for long sessions. It adds just enough extra chunkiness and texture to get a good grip without adding much weight and the price is great too.

Flimsy stand function, not fully carry case compatible, good grip cover otherwise
-1 Star for flimsy stand function of case (supporting surface must be perfectly level and stable, cannot see this not falling over on e.g., a train commute)-1 Star for compatibility with carry cases. Deck must be pressured into the standard STEAM/VALVE carry case to fit. Puts pressure on zip seams whilst in case. Still fits and works, but not a perfect fit given it puts stress on the zip / doesn't just fit perfectly as intended.Outside of that, grip case is good, feels better than the without the case. Also, not going to take a star off because there's nothing anyone can do about it due to STEAM/VALVE's product design / without a full cover case: the top two corners with LT/LB & RT/RB are unprotected from drop damage by the case.
