I ordered this to replace a new Plano single tray box. The Plano had sharp edges, a broken arm on the tray, and a hinge that was improperly installed. The Flambeau is well made, no sharp edges, opens and closes smoothly, the plastic is heavier but not brittle. This is my first Flambeau but it won’t be the last. I returned the Plano.

I use this for something completely different then fishing.. I have a big Okeechobee Fats tackle box, but I use this for drywall hanging.. I have my AKKTOL Molly Bolts for Drywall & Plaster Walls setting tool in the bottom, with my stud finger and one of my levers, also have about 8 different Molly's and wall anchors in there. Its perfect so if im hanging a floating shelf or picture I literally just grab this and its got everything I need.. size is good, versatile and good functionality..

Holds many paint tubes in the top trays n plenty of other stuff below. If you’re an artist, you might want to check out this reasonably priced box.

We bought this as our 5 year old's first tackle box. It looks good, has lots of room, spaces were adjustable, and the price was not bad. Only complaint is that the plastic main hinge frequently becomes unhingedwhen the cover is open. I think I've snapped it back together about once every three times my son opens it. Part of ot is just a cheap design for a hinge and part could be opening on an uneven surface without even support for both bottom and lid when open. Overall, our son likes it, but he gets frustrated too when the lid hinge disconnects.

Has a lot of space I love it

Bought this tacklebox for my 12-year-old great grandson and he loves it almost has it totally full now.

I love this product for the organization features. It has all the compartments I needed to put together my family first aid kit. That being said. It is made of a cheaper plastic. The base is pretty sturdy and the top feel sturdy but what is NOT sturdy are the hinges on this unit. Every time I open the lid, the left hinge comes undone. It is increasingly annoying. I had a few items in the outer lid compartment and ended up removing them in the hopes that it would help the box hinge from coming undo. No dice. It still comes undone. I kept the box because I just pop the hinge back into place, but if you plan on using this for a fishing tackle box, I wouldn't recommend it. I still works for my family and I because we have the time, patience and space in the bathroom to pop the hinge back into place and adjust the lid as we open it. If your fishing, it would be so very impractical. As a fisher-woman I would never recommend this as a tackle box. This is better suited for indoor organization purposes only.
