A great adventure with mysteries, secrets, doubts, betrayals, sudden revelations and attraction.
I’ve since deigned to spend the little precious time I have left on this rock in search of my muse.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5Once i said that I’m in love with Kallum. And my feelings haven’t changed. This book continues the case our Kallum and his muse started. This case is a great adventure with mysteries, secrets, doubts, betrayals, sudden revelations and attraction. Can Halen overcome her trust issues and accept everything Kallum gave, is giving and will give her? Is her assumptions about him true or fake? Will she accept his advances and truly become his muse?Plot twist with murderer and his reasoning were chief’s kiss. And “Lovely violent things” has the most amazing scene in the night, it was so emotionally written, so hot and alluring. I blushed whole time but couldn’t put book down.Breadcrumbs which were left in the story promise us amazing adventure in third book.

Good duet
This contains my thoughts for both books, as it was just easier for me to combine the reviews.Lovely Bad Things ⭐⭐⭐💫&🌶️🌶️Lovely Violent Things ⭐⭐⭐⭐ &🌶️🌶️I honestly enjoyed LVT better than the first book. It definitely helped turn the tides, as far as my opinion went.I think, for me, LBT (book 1) was a slight struggle because I kept getting hung up on the philosophy and psychology discussions. I was trying to grasp wtf they were saying, like I was sitting in Philosophy 101 but it just wasn't processing 😩. So I kept rereading and analyzing the same paragraphs over and over 😅🤣I DID really like the Silence of the Lambs references (read the series, loved it) and the storyline also very much reflected that same premise in multiple instances. It felt like Hannibal Lector's love story 🤣I also enjoyed the huge plot twist near the end of book 1. That alone saved it from a solid ⭐⭐⭐ and elevated it to 3.5 rounded to 4.As for LVT (book 2) the plot twists just kept coming and the romantic aspects developed better. So that's mainly why I enjoyed it more. Things stayed interesting until the very end!Honestly, I wish I'd felt that angsty connection between the FMC and MMC as much as my friends did but 🤷🏻♀️ I wanna say it was probably all of that philosophy jargon 😂 it just threw off the whole vibe for me, I suppose 😂🫣I would still definitely recommend these books to people. I liked the books and want to reiterate that. My feelings were just a bit more dim or muddled, compared to everyone else.

Kallum is retained as an expert for the FBI. Memories are coming back to Halen more and more.Halen tries to keep Kallum at a distance, but the connection they have keeps pulling her back to him. She knows she needs to find the overman sooner than later if she wants to save the 32 remaining missing townspeople. This is such a twisted, and beautiful story! So many times I thought I knew what was happening, but then something would get revealed and I’d realize I was wrong. I binged this book in less than a day, because I couldn’t get enough of it. I was actually sad when it was over. I cannot recommend this story more!I think we all have some darkness in us, and all it needs to get out, is one perfectly tragic incident to set it free. This story had me thinking, and I love a book that makes my mind work. I enjoyed all the psychology intertwined throughout the entire duology.Trisha Wolfe is now an auto buy for me! She has such a beautiful mind, and I cannot wait to read more of her stories!Tropes- Dark academia- 🩸play- Twists & turns- Antihero- Dark romance- Marking- Biting- Rituals- Strong fmc
