This is the best scalp ointment. Other manufacturers promise that their leave-in scalp serums have instant absorption but the one's I've tried all leave a tacky residue. Serovital Hair Regeneris is great smelling, absorbs quickly and leaves your scalp felling refreshed and nourished. I love it!!! Only issue is that it didn't create more hair growth for me but only time will tell. I am, however under a doctor's care and I take finesteride and minoxidil and I have had some growth but pretty sure it's due to the medication. All in all, I love the serum to keep my scalp from drying out and getting flaky.

I was excited to try this new Hair Regeneres Advanced Hair Thickening Serum by SeroVital Beauty because I've experienced thinning of the hair at my temples, which is a very common thing in perimenopause, and because SeroVital is well known for its hair growth supplements. The ingredients of the serum include many beneficial ones, including: • peptides - reduce breakage, stimulate growth, and help to anchor hair; • apigenin and oleanolic acid - botanical compounds to help improve scalp health and reduce inflammation; • glycerin and castor oil - hydrate and condition the scalp; • and raspberry ketones - may promote hair growth and scalp health by stimulating dermal IGF-1 production. The serum comes in a white, opaque glass bottle with a curved dropper, and the instructions state to apply 2 droppers full to the scalp each night and to massage until absorbed. The dropper tends to slowly drip once you start using it, so you have to turn it up to prevent dripping or apply it fairly quickly. The serum has a pleasant, fruity fragrance. It's too soon to tell if this will be as beneficial as I hope, but it's not greasy or oily, and it does not make my hair look bad the next day. I have had no irritation or problems so far. It's hard to estimate how long the bottle will last, but based on the manufacturer's website the 1 oz. bottle should probably last about a month of daily usage. It was manufactured at a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) facility for the company, which is based in Utah. I wish the product indicated where it was actually manufactured, but it appears that most SeroVital products are made in the USA. While it is too soon to tell if it is making a difference, it is packed with beneficial ingredients, so I'm hoping that this will really help. I am also taking a supplement with biotin and started using minoxidil foam at my temples and hairline a few months ago, but I believe this serum should be ok to use with topical minoxidil as long as you allow adequate time for the minoxidil to dry first or use one in the morning and the other at night. If this serum is effective, it would be a good value, and I think it's worth trying. The formulation looks promising. I will update again if I have any noticeable results or issues later.

Serovital is well known for their supplements and skin care serums. This seems hair thickening serum seems a natural progression for them and I was excited to try it. It’s meant to be used in conjunction with their hair care supplement which I’m not taking, so that’s important to note. If you are your results may be totally different. I feel my experience is still valid as not everyone will be using these together…or at least may start out with the serum first, adding these together supplement later if they’re happy with results. The serum is lightweight, has a light but not unpleasant fragrance. It takes longer than I thought to distribute it evenly throughout my scalp. Don’t skimp on this step, you want to make sure it’s really well spread. I have been surprised that my hair and scalp doesn’t feel oily, dirty faster, or weighed down. I live in an extremely low humidity climate year round so adding moisture to my scalp helps. The company states this helps keep your natural hair color, combating gray hair. I’m not sure how long you have to use to see that or if it’s simply a preventative. I’m actually not bothered by my gray (totally personal choice). Overall I don’t know if my scalp and hair feel any healthier or fuller than the dry hair oil I normally use, but this is a great value and a quality product from a brand I know and trust, so I do think it’s really worth trying.
