Good , comfortable mattress cover
After ordering one for my master bedroom, I have since ordered one for my guest bedroom and one for my son. This product is very nice quality and very comfortable for sleeping. It will protect a new mattress and make an older mattress much better. You'll need to fluff it up in the dryer, before using and I fluff mine up again, when I change the bedding. It fits very well over my 12 inch mattress, with a 4 inch topper. It stays in place, which helps the sheets to keep from sliding. Though I can fit it into my dryer for fluffing up, it is thick and heavy, for your average size home washer. Finding a laundry place with a larger washer , will make washing it a little easier. I've been using this product for months now, and highly recommend.

Comfortable, Secure Fit, and Budget-Friendly
This mattress pad is a great upgrade if you’re looking to add a layer of comfort without committing to a full topper. The quilted design adds a subtle plushness that makes the bed feel more inviting, and the cotton top layer is soft to the touch. The deep pocket design is no joke—it fits snugly over our thick mattress with room to spare, and the elastic edges don’t budge, even after a week of use. The overall quality feels solid, especially for the price, and it’s definitely a good value option. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance way to refresh your bed, this is a dependable and affordable choice. Just know it’s more of a comfort layer than a true plush topper.

Okay
My husband and I bought a new bedroom suit, upgrading our mattress size to king. We opted for a cheap mattress since we were buying the suit, with plans to replace the mattress at a later date. The mattress we purchased was memory foam. Memory foam can make you sweat, and our mattress does just that. So much so that we will likely wind up having to replace it sooner than later, not saving anything in the long run.I purchased this cover for two reasons. First, to try to cut down on the sweating. Second, I can’t wash the mattress, so I always add a mattress pad or protector that can be washed if needed. My review of this pad is that it’s sort of like a thick, fluffy comforter. It’s kind of squishy. I am not sure what I was expecting but I was going for the feel of a pillow top. It doesn’t feel like that but it doesn’t feel like you just tucked a comforter under your sheet either. All I can say is that it made the mattress a lot softer. Whether that is a good thing or not is a matter of opinion. My husband doesn’t sleep well on it but didn’t sleep well on the mattress. He still sweats but not as much (didn’t on our old pillow top - it’s the mattress). I wouldn’t say that this would resolve that issue/cool you down that much. He also says it is too soft in comparison to our daughter’s (doesn’t have the pad on her bed). I tend to think that his issues can’t be resolved without replacing the mattress and am not going to blame them on the pad. The fact is, I doubt there is a pad on the market that would make him like our current mattress any more than he does.As for me? I like it. Our old pillow top had gotten too soft for me (your core changes quite a bit when you have twins!) and I was having trouble getting in and out of bed at night to check on the kids. My hips were hurting constantly and my back spasms made it more efficient for me to just sleep on the couch. The new mattress was a bit uncomfortable for me, and this pad improved my quality of sleep tremendously. It is soft enough that my hips don’t kill me when I lay on my side at night, my back spasms have mostly stopped so that I’m better able to get in and out of bed with the kids, and I just feel comfortable when I’m laying in it.I am not someone that has ever owned an expensive mattress and this is an improvement over the egg crates we used to use when I was a kid. My mom and sister liked it enough to get one for their beds and have liked using them so far (they have the same mattress and found it uncomfortable as well.... I have not laundered mine but my sister washes hers weekly and has not complained). At the end of the day, this mattress cover is not going to make your mattress feel like a pillow top or high end mattress if it isn’t. It also isn’t going to make your mattress feel like you crammed a comforter under your sheets. It doesn’t slide around or bunch up. It is not going to solve any problems with night sweats, and it is probably going to be too soft if you like a firm mattress. What it is likely to do is add some cushion to an otherwise too firm mattress. If your mattress is so unsupportive that your hips hurt when you lay on your side at night, it might help. If you’re tossing and turning and not sleeping well because of that sort of thing, it may help. If you just want to add a little cushion, it might help. If you just want a mattress cover you can launder, it would work (I don’t believe it is waterproof but we didn’t need that). As for us, it is an okay purchase. Didn’t solve my husband’s problems but solved mine and I’m grateful for that. I’m sure that we will soon be replacing the mattress with a better quality, non memory foam one, and when we do, we won’t be using this any longer. For now, I think it was worth the money.I don’t have any complaints so I’m giving it 5 stars. That doesn’t mean it upgraded our mattress - it just means that it does what I believe it was advertised to do and I got what I expected from it.

Worth the extra padding
I’m happy with the quality of this mattress pad. Made it a little more comfy. Worth the price .. May invested in a gel foam more expensive one at some point but this one worked out for a not so great quality , thinner mattress .

Does the job and description is accurate
This mattress pad has been on our bed for a couple weeks now and my spouse and I are happy with it. It’s at the proper price point for the product we received. I washed, dried, and fluffed it using two tennis balls on air dry in the dryer before first use. I never expected this to be like a feather bed or anywhere close, just enough loft to be, well, a pad. We already have a memory foam topper, so we have no need for additional cushioning, but we do have a need to temperature regulate because the memory foam retains a ton of body heat. This mattress pad gives enough air circulation for necessary heat regulation. I wouldn’t call it cooling at all, that’s probably a step too far. Regulating is more accurate. It can still be a little toasty at times, but overall it’s no worse temperature-wise than our previous very thin all cotton pad.The mattress pad quality seems fine. Only time will really tell. There were no loose threads or fabric irregularities. The surface fabrics felt fine to the touch. The elastic was plenty deep and holds the pad in place over a deep mattress and 4 inches of extra memory foam topper, so the elastic is also strong.Mattress pads like this have never been an item on which I spend a lot of money. I was a little flabbergasted at the amount of money non memory foam mattress pads were commanding since it’s not an item I shop for frequently anyway. This one seemed like a good compromise without hitting triple digit prices. So far, it’s worked out that way. If you were like me and both overwhelmed by the available choices and unable to really discern why one pad was twice or three times the price of another, this mattress pad might be a good one to try out.One last thing to note: this mattress pad comes packaged vacuum compressed. When we opened the package, the pad definitely had a noticeable (not overwhelming) chemical odor to it. I let it air out in a spare room for a day. It went away with a very thorough washing with several rinses and the dry and fluff I mentioned up top. If that odor had not gone away, this would be a different review. I’m not sure if it was the outer fabric, the fill, the elastic, or the packaging since it was so compressed in plastic. Be sure to wash this thing and give it plenty of air circulation to dry before using it.
