These were very strong but were unable to hold up what I needed them for. I wanted to use them to provide support along a 150"tension rod by attaching brackets at intervals along my terrace. The rod was supported at either ends by the wall and, the magnets were strong enough to attach the brackets. Unfortunately, with the weight of the fabric (3 panels, 50" x 104"), the brackets would not stay attached to the magnets.I used them, and the brackets, to hang decorative glass prisms instead.

I struggled with putting things on my fridge with a light weight and using regular magnets for a long time. I got these and everything stays in place now. I don't stress them with a lot of weight, mostly just menus or Christmas Cards from friends and 1 of them will hold several. I am not sure what these were designed for, but they are really strong. Kind of looking forward to testing what they can hold. Blows any regular fridge magnet out of the water for strength. Probably works for many other applications. Just pulling them apart out of the box can be work. Seriously strong magnets.

Had to attach a metal plate to fill a gap on a mantel and had no way of bolting it. Found these and thought I'd give it a shot. Out of the box they seem small but are true to description. Each magnet has a plastic separator to make it easier to pull apart. They are way stronger than expected. My father took them and started trying to separate them by hand and it was quite amusing. He almost got it and let go the magnets slammed together and one fractured but I am attributing that to our error not product quality. Fantastic magnets and I will for sure be buying more for future projects.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the seller 1 day after posting my initial review and was told that there was a huge miscommunication with the supplier. The adhesives were never meant to be attached to the magnets prior to shipping. They were very apologetic and eager to correct the mistake. They very quickly sent me a set of disc magnets. The disc magnets are WAY stronger than the bar magnets and feel INCREDIBLY heavy duty, also not chipped or scratched at all. Although I would have preferred to have the original bar magnets without the adhesives, I feel satisfied that the problem was corrected and I really appreciate the excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend this seller.These magnets are extremely strong! I pinched my finger a few times messing with them because of how strong the pull is. They also don’t seem cheap or low quality, they look and feel very durable. They weren’t chipped at ALL or even scratched.Unfortunately, I cannot use them because the adhesive strips were attached prior to shipping. I specifically got these bar magnets because I assumed I was going to get bare magnets and they are incredibly strong so they would have been perfect for what I need them for. But I have no need for the adhesive backings and they should have never been attached prior to shipping to the buyer so unfortunately, I can’t use them. That is not what is advertised and that is not what I intended to purchase.

The magnets are really strong and I really like the ones that didn’t break. Unfortunately, two broke in half before I opened the box making them fairly useless (they are very sharp). They are a little over a dollar a piece for the magnets, so to have two down before used is a bit disappointing.I would give a higher review if they weren’t broken. They are amazingly strong and stay in the wall.

I bought these to attach a sign to our dumpster. They have a very strong hold. They don't move even when the trash truck lifts and drops to empty the dumpster! The adhesive holds very well too. The signs I used are not metal, so I had to attach the magnet to the sign with the adhesive strips. I went with a less expensive brand, and it worked out well! Good value, great product!

They adhere to each other in an extraordinarily strong manner. They are very brittle, though, so might not be sturdy enough to handle the strains of a purse. I use them to hold RGB LED strips to my computer case. But, they are inexpensive enough to give them a try.StrayGoose
