Fit perfectly in older Minolta camera
I inserted a #675 hearing-aid battery into this new adapter and now my built-in light meters on my vintage Minolta AL-F and Olympus OM-1 cameras are working perfectly! This adapter/battery combo will work wherever an old mercury (PX13, MR-9 or PX625) battery was called for.

Look Just Like Others I've Bought In the Past, and They Work
If you want to use vintage cameras or accessories, sooner or later you're going to learn that a lot of gear from the 60s and 70s relied on now-banned mercury batteries to operate the light meter. Modern alkaline cells might fit, but at best they will skew your meter readings, and at worst they might damage the circuits in your equipment since they have higher voltage. There are some specialty batteries that can be used with no adapter, but they cost $10-15 apiece and have a limited lifespan. At one time, you could get mercury batteries from Russia, but, well, that ship has sailed. So to me, these are your next best option. These adapters let you use hearing aid batteries that are easily available to keep older gear operational and working as intended. It's nice that you get two, since some cameras require both of them to function. The best part is, once you buy them, you'll never have to buy expensive specialty batteries again.Great item, priced fairly. The quality is good, I'm very happy with these. Get your vintage camera or light meter fully operational!
