Color not what I expected
So, the product is pretty cool, but the color was much more Kelly green than blue green as seen in the photo. Exchanged it for more blue without a problem and very pleased

One of the best!
Good size and shape allows for lift and controlled turns. Best hand straps in the business. A great product and price!

LOVE my Badfish handplane!
I have experimented with so many different handplanes and the WAW Badfish is my all time favorite. What I love about the Badfish is that it is super easy to swim out with, it feels like an extension to your arm and swim stroke. It is light weight and the strap is padded and adjustable so it fits perfect up against your hand(my hand is tiny and it still fits). What I have struggled with using different hand planes from different brands is that the hand planes are too bulky or buoyant and tend to not fit as well, so swimming ends up being more difficult and there is a concern about messing my shoulder up. The BADFISH is the first hand plane that I HAVE NOT felt that and am 100% confident using which makes my overall bodysurfing experience even more fun! My 5 year old nephew was even able to catch a wave with it. And a big bonus is that it is made from recycled ocean plastics ! I highly recommend this!

Not worth the money!
This is WAY small! The idea of supporting a company using recyclables was comforting, but this isn’t a good fit for my level or the waves I have where I surf… it’s far too little and doesn’t fit my hand very well…. Extremely disappointed due to its price point…. You better have the right wave, and impeccable skill for this item… cause it hasn’t done crap for me…. ☹️

a grippy little board
Growing up in Hawaii I loved to body surf. Its easy to do and can be a rush. I had a chance to bring this out to a beach in San Diego. The waves are short and you need to jump on them quickly. This little board made controlling my direct incredibly quick. It feels like you are reaching out in the water and grabbing it and pulling you in the direction you want to go. Its kinda trippy how well it works. I love the wrist strap no need to worry about loosing it. The handle can be adjusted to fit as tight as you like across your hand. Overall this is a wicked ride and lots of fun. I love the recycling of ocean plastics and the idea of helping out the environment. Definitely a fun time on the water.

Good for the environment, good for your body surfing
When I was a kid, we used to body surf without equipment while our big brothers surfed on surfboards, but I can see that this elevates the experience. Check out the company's website to see videos of it in use. These hand planes are made in Australia of plastic waste retrieved from the ocean. They're designed to give you a better bodysurfing experience. My son and his kids are heading to the beach, and they're taking this along. It's small, sturdy, solidly made, and very cool. I'll update once they've tried it out, but I can tell you already that it made an exciting gift.It also arrived much faster than expected.
