The material is compressed in the shipping carton but expands when installed in the spray booth. It is quite effective and satisfactory for our requirements.

Do not buy
These are awful. The fiberglass flies everwhere. I had to use them as I was in the middle of a job but I wish I could return them. .

Nothing master or elite about these.
These are not like any name brand filters we have ever used. I didn't even open the box for 2 weeks because I didn't know what was in the box. The box in the picture looks like at a minimum it is as tall as the filter is wide. Wrong. The box is about 5" thick and when you open it up, suddenly the 50 filters grow to about 36".I am going to use them because I have them but I am sure they may last 1/4 of the time as my normal ones. I will not order filters from Amazon again. They get 2 stars basically because they ARE filters.

Read this before opening the box.
Warning!!! You need to wear gloves and long sleeves to handle this product or it can cause splinters in your skin and make u itch. The fibers are very sharp. The manufacturer need to put this some where in the description other than that the item works great in capturing and trapping overspray.
