I own many boning knives, so when I now recommend this to all professionals, hunter, and home cook, it is because it is simply the best boning knife I have ever used. The grip is by far the best of all knifes, as you can get your grip went or greasy, still you have a very secure and none slip grip. Sharpness on this blade is amazing. That means that I will not need to put the knife back on my sharpening stones. It is easy to clean with no difficult areas to reach. Very good knife and great value.

Awesome knife make cutting meat commercially a breeze. Other cutters may make fun of the way it looks only till they use it, then they want one too. It does look like a field knife but when I cut 75 chuck roasts in 1.5 half they can kiss my bum. The grip and thumb placement on knife helps alleviate hand soreness from repetition. I work as a butcher and needed something comfortable and good quality. After seeing the Dalstrong night shark series knives i thought they looked like a solid contender. With the money back guarantee it was hard to say no. First off the packaging it comes in is like a display case and it comes with a collectors pin and info booklets. The knife itself comes in a protective sheath. I can’t speak highly enough about the over all for and finish of the whole knife from the razor sharp edge to the feel of the handle with the deep finger groove and the spot on the top of the handle for your thumb for extra support. The knife feels balanced in the hand and not to blade or handle heavy. Absolutely amazing and already have bought more. Customer service is also amazing if you ever have any questions or concerns.

Love this knife, still very sharp after several uses. Great no slip handle. Only a 4 star because the handle is a bit bulky. Going to try the Valhalla line next.

UPDATE Decided to try their Bullnose Butcher instead. A beautiful thing. So thrilled I returned the heavy Cutluxe. The weight on this knife is indicated as 1.74 pounds. I had a sneaky suspicion that must include the case box and cute useless brooch that comes with Dal items. I was right. It's as light as a feather. Thank goodness because my weak wrists and small paws can't take heavy anything. I bought it for watermelon cutting. It's definitely better suited for meat slicing but I'll use it none the less. Handle very comfortable just not attractive enough. Dull plastic. I wd hv preferred something prettier.

Cuts through things like butter. I haven't had a lot of uses for it so it still has a great edge.

I bought this knife for my husband as a gift and he loves it! It's very well made and the blade is sharp. This knife cuts through meat and veggies etc with no problem. It comes with a sheath that is equally well made, the stitching is good and so far there are no signs of wear or tear. I bought this knife in particular because it has a unique sporty look that suits his lifestyle. We are very happy with this purchase!
