Using this with barium chloride to test my stash of potassium nitrate and potassium sulfate. Container labels are gone with the wind. Bottle itself is impressively packed. Sealed plastic bag inside another sealed plastic bag, inside a box stuffed with those big rice puffs. I like effective leak protection for a chemical product.

The liner under the cap is not acid resistant. I used 1/4 of the bottle originally. When I came back for more the liner under the cap had turned black and corrupted the solution.

Exactly what I needed for a project that I hope will change the world for the better.

It is real hcl. If you wait too long to use it , it will eat through the bottle, through the bag, through the box. Make sure you use this promptly and transfer to a safe container or neutralize with lots of baking soda. It took me about 9 cups.
