I love the phone and the entire concept. It's been a really good change for me overall. I do have a few important critiques to make though: 1. Group Text Messages: I tried all three networks on US Mobile (Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T) and have been unable to get group texting to work with anyone. They can't push new APNs to the phone and you can't edit the APNs on the phone, so I spent about 15 hours working with US Mobile trying to get everything working. I ended up keeping it on T-Mobile in the end which seems to work the best, but group texting does not work. 2. Cheep Screen: I love how simple the screen is, but it's also extremely fragile. I dropped my phone on the first day from about 1 foot and it shattered the entire screen. I'd highly recommend you protect the screen right away with a screen protector and case. 3. No Auto Correct: This one is really painful, because you can only type slowly to start with and then when you make mistakes it's really hard to fix. The voice to text feature is turned off by default (at least on mine), so now that I turned that on it's a little easier. That said, the voice to text feature does a really poor job of creating professional sentences. Overall, I'm happy with the switch but there are some bugs they still need to work on!

I love this phone. It resembles a tiny kindle with the touch and screen. It lags a bit and it DOES NOT accept group messaging. That’s the only reason I took away a star. It is a fantastic way to rid yourself of social media, blue light, ads and sht that is constantly listening to you & social media. I am a 35 yo female that needs and escape from all that distraction and this phone is great. Sound quality on calls is fantastic. I would buy one for all of my family members if they weren’t slaves to smart devices.

Ive had it for a few weeks now and I have mixed feelings. I like how light and compact it is. Also, the fact that it lets me to stream podcasts is awesome. However, the battery lasts a day only, the processor is slow, and my biggest complaint is that the directions app will get you lost if you are not carful (if you miss a turn, it does not know what to do). I will keep it for a while because I think it is a good non smart phone option.

I'm 3 months in and love this phone even more than when I first got it. I was an early adopter of the iPhone and that thing has ruled my life since 2007. The Light Phone 2 is a breath of fresh air. The simplicity of this phone has helped me buy my time back. Buy my LIFE back really. Since buying it I started swimming laps again, wrote 5 new songs, and learned to play pedal steel guitar. I went from 20-30 hrs a week of screen time down to basically nothing and spend way more time with my wife and children now. $300 well spent, and it is the gift that keeps giving. I did a basic flip phone for a year but came crawling back to my iPhone because texting was terrible and had no GPS. Lightphone's simple keyboard and basic maps along with eInk screen are exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend the Lemur wallet/lightphone case along with the Lemur key fold for all the minimalism. Imagine a phone that's just a phone. I highly recommend this for those that want to just live their life not glued to a screen at every waking moment.

I love it but it has some flaws Texting is cumbersome Voice mail is old school 😀Updates have made it better

So I switched to a flip phone about a month ago. Very happy with that choice, but it's difficult to text on. I was looking into another more modern option, but without the smart part. So I find this, like the full keyboard option and think it might be alright for 300$. Wrong. It's harder to text on than my flip phone, very glitchy keyboard, the space button doesn't work 60% of the time. No emojis, but you can receive them. I wouldn't pay 40$ for this. I'm returning and going back to my flip phone. The concept is great, but it feels like an old kindle that never worked right. It's very slow and inconvenient to try to use. I really like the look, but it's also way too small and I have small hands. Like, a modern designed phone should not be so hard to use. The keyboard can only be used sideways, so many flipping back and forth which got old on the first 3hrs of use. Not worth it.
