Box torn open and missing contents.
When I received the product, the box was torn open. The pump was the only thing in the box. All the fittings and adapters were missing. Not going to waste my time sending it back because the next time, I may not even get the pump.

Works but I don t think it gives you 45 PSI
I used this pump to refill up my RV with fresh water. It does the job but I don t think it gave you 45PSI as it took a while to fill the 70 gallons of fresh water

Pump pressure switch only works on oulet side
I got this pump installed to add pressure to a sprinkler system. At first I tried using a timer in front of the pump to turn the water on and off at selected time intervals, but the pump would not sense the flow and pressure on the inlet side and ran continuously when it was switched on. The pump switch will only work if you have flow control on the outlet side of the pump. AND in addition, the outlet side must be completely leak free or else the pump will detect a tiny amount of flow and it will try to run sporadically. I did not see any info on this in the ad and didn't see this explained in the instructions I got, so through some trial and error, I finally got it to function...but it was not what I wanted for my particular set up.So, yes, the pump does work, but I think the ad is a little misleading by not explaining how the pressure/flow switch operates. On the positive side, when the pump running it did a fantastic job and provided plenty of pressure and flow and is relatively quiet. This pump is really meant for operating an interior faucet or something like that where flow is controlled with a valve at the very end of the line, not somewhere in the middle like a sprinkler system which kinda defeats the self priming function since to operate correctly the pump will always need to have pressure on the inlet side or else it will try to "prime" itself continuously. This was just my experience with the pump, hopefully the info might help someone else decide if it will work for your situation.

Powerful little pump
We live in the boonies and depend upon this sort of pump to get water from our tanks (filled by a deep well) into our house. When the pump fails--as they seem to do about once every year or two--it is good to have a back-up, because there is no place within a couple hours' drive that carries them. (That, and the fact that they almost always go out late at night or on a weekend when stores are closed!) At any rate, it is good we got this when we did because exactly a week after it was delivered, our old pump quit when a small animal of some sort decided to chew through the wiring right where it enters the pump, making it impossible to repair without disassembling the entire unit. This new pump looks and works pretty much exactly like the old one, but is a lot more powerful. The water jets out! This is a good thing because the old pump was a bit sluggish. It works perfectly to bring water from our 1500 gallon external tank into the house at a really good pressure. If you live in the country (or have an "alternative" water system such as in an RV or tiny house, this is a good little pump.)Now I just need to get another one for that midnight pump failure when a chipmunk gets hungry for wiring!
