The NOCO Genius chargers are great on their own, but honestly one of the best upgrades has been adding the quick-connect cable accessories. I purchased both the GC02 and GC08 cable options. One is marketed more for automotive batteries with a larger mounting hole, while the other has a smaller mounting hole, but functionally they work exactly the same. On our vehicles, the GC02 actually would have been sufficient for both because the battery bolts fit through the smaller opening just fine. The only real difference is the mounting hole size depending on your battery terminal hardware. These accessories completely changed how easy it is to use the charger. No more fighting with clamps, trying to find the right angle, or leaving the hood open while charging. Once installed on the battery posts, you simply plug the NOCO charger directly into the quick connect and you’re done in seconds. They truly are “quick connect.” Another detail I appreciated is the built-in dust covers for when the connectors aren’t in use. Small feature, but it keeps everything clean and protected, especially in a garage or outdoor environment. The quality is excellent as well. The cables are thick, durable, and feel premium just like the chargers themselves. Everything fits securely and works seamlessly with the Genius chargers. If you own a NOCO charger, I highly recommend picking up one of these cable accessories. Honestly, after using them, I’d never want to go back to traditional clamps again.

Noco makes a great product and for power sports, charger maintainers aren't a luxury, they are virtually a mandatory necessity. I'm a retired professional mechanic and specialized in electrical, especially batteries, starters and alternators. I understand fully the main causes of electrical issues and I know very well how to avoid them and for vehicles that are not daily drivers, using a charger maintainer is a great beginning for avoiding issues as your battery will ALWAYS be in a fully charged condition which eases stress on the charging system but also prevents premature battery failure. These ring terminal lead simplifies using a maintainer and makes getting on the road and using your power sports vehicle quicker and easier.

Great charger/battery connector

The NOCO GC002 WORKS GREAT I received it today and installed it on my generator so I can keep the battery charged so far so good only been a few hours but it was really easy to set up and the Noco genius two works great also it’s a very good investment.

The cord seems to work fine. However, the product selection from Noco seems questionable. Despite what AI says from AutoZone, this cord is only offered in sizes to fit an M6 or an M10 battery terminal. Unfortunately, both of my lithium batteries have M8 terminals. I was faced with either using an oversized M10 and risk a poor connection, or enlarging the M6 eyelet blades to fit an M8. I chose the latter. Since I didn’t have a step drill bit, and I was afraid that a screw bit would catch and tear up the eyelet, I used a round file and worked slowly. Fortunately it worked out ok. But why Noco doesn’t offer an M8 to fit the many batteries of that size is beyond me.

It’s a good length so you can push it out past the hood, allowing you to charge with the hood closed. This was helpful when we had snow and I could just connect and disconnect as needed. Once it warmed up, I left it connected in place and tucked it back near the battery until next Winter.
