Great for its purpose
I don't know why people are complaining in reviews about it being "too tough and painful". Yes, it is firm, but that's how it needs to be to work! It isn't sharp or unbearably painful - just a good, much-needed pressure. Even my 2 years old has no problem standing on it in thin socks (didn't try it without socks just because she always wears them at home).

Happy with this.
Like the bright color. Strong plastic. Start gradual and then increase. A little painful, recommend using socks. I stand on this when I’m brushing my teeth. The middle part that is slightly higher feels amazing on my arch.*I’ve been working on my feet…toe separators, and barefoot shoes for almost a year now. This is just another step in helping my feet.

Fun fidget toy for the feet
It’s really fun to fidget around with when sitting at the desk!

Flimsy set
The set has two mats, but they don't attach well and connection falls apart. It is made out of light plastic. It is not super comfortable, but it is inexpensive alternative to other foot massage mats.

Medieval torture device
I had once bought a bath rug that had little mounds in it's design. They felt good on my feet so I thought on of those pressure point pads might feel even better. This this was NOT what I expected. Maybe my assumptions were wrong about what I was getting but this did not feel good at all. In fact the relief and comfort you feel is from actually taking your feet of this devil mat. To explain how it feels, think of gluing random Lego pieces and macaroni to lunch tray and then standing on in your bear feet. This is exactly what it feels like. So if your a masochist, this thing is for you. Otherwise keep looking.

Stimulating pokiness
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this item to help stimulate blood flow in my foot that is suffering from plantar fasciitis. I like the way it feels and I think it does what I was hoping. This is obviously not a cure for plantar fasciitis, but I think can be used in conjunction with other treatments to relieve the pain and promote recovery. I really only need one panel to get the effect I want, so I keep one at home and put one in my suitcase (it fits easily without taking up much room).

Ouch!
I'm sure for some people might be great, but too much pressure for me. Hard plastic. Ouch!

It's nice!
It definitely takes some getting used to, but I love the way it makes my feet feel. I got the yellow because it was the cheapest, and it's a decent color. I've got it in my bathroom. It has little hooks to keep the mats together and it doesn't really work, they kept slipping, but it's not necessary to use them. I recommend starting off with socks.
