Would the small cage be right for a Diamond Dove. They are very small.

I have a sun conure. Counting tail feathers, he measures about 7 inches, maybe 8. The cage is easily big enough for him.I'm not sure what size a diamond dove becomes. From the pictures I can find on the internet, I still think the cage would be large enough. Keep in mind, though, it's a travel cage - not a cage for long-term the living.

Michelle,When the cage is assembled (and I'll just round it off), it about 12 inches wide, 16 inches tall and roughly 19 inches long. It's maybe a little smaller than a medium-sized suitcase, if that helps. If I'm traveling by car, it's quite easy to belt into a seat, even if I turn the cage sideways. My conure parrot is quite comfortable in it.John

Could this cage be used as a temporary cage while boarding my bird while I'm away on a 5-day vacation?
