High quality and not overly salty
I got nostalgic for SOS from my Navy days. After making it from scratch using Hormel dried beef, the salt level was unacceptable. I found the Knauss product already made with half/third of the salt. It is very high quality. Very creamy. Much better than I can make from scratch. I used one packet and I will save the other two for a future craving or future disaster.

Delicious and exactly as described
The ship time may look extreme, but once Knauss knows you have a real interest in their product, and they will assume this from the first order, they will process your order ASAP. If you’re not a Creamed Chip Beef wanna-be you’ll recognize immediately a meal prepared to the highest restaurant standards and not only worthy of the cost, but impossible to find prepared with ingredients and craftsmanship at this level. The microwave pouch works extremely well and, as impossible as it sounds, you can prepare a five star meal in minutes.

Should be "Creamed Beef Specks"
It wasn't bad, but there's very little beef or beef taste in it. I ended up browning some finely ground beef and onions to stir in.

Time to Remember!
This product is absolutely delicious, husband loves it on toast reminded him of the Navy meals abroad ship. This is my second purchase will order again! A little pricey, but taste great! Will purchase more.

Disgusting!
I used to make my own chipped beef, but time crunch had me using frozen options. They aren't bad, but when I saw ones that didn't require refrigeration and prepared fast, I thought why not. I just tried these and I can tell you why not: they are disgusting and inedible! Weird blend of bland and chemically. Yuck!
